9: this can't be happening

"Okay!" Ms. Von Angel bang the table to make us aware. Since most of the students are day dreaming.

"You will each be paired up by two to make a special project." The students were complaining like "ah! What other projects should we do?"

"This project should be about making a video. You should show your talent, you may sing, dance or magic show. Anything you want but it has to be acceptable to the society. Okay?"

"Yes Ms. Angel." The students said.

"Okay. I'll paired the list now."

"What?! Aren't we allowed to chose it ourselves?" Martha spoke out.

"No. I chose." The students sigh again.

"Let's start. Adelaine will be with Jeremy, Blaire with Nathan, John with Samantha. Martha with Abby, Peter with Kevin, Abigail with Marie, Paige with Jonas... And some other more." Some were sighing some were happy, especially Sam.

And the last pairing was the deadliest among all. "And Alice with Kate." And i could see the shock in the mean girls and Sam.

"The criteria for this project is your creativity, teamwork, and hard work. The way you act in your video and how you could inspire people." Ms. Von said.

How am i suppose to have teamwork with her? With a traitor? I give a sneak peak in Alice's expression and she wasn't shock. She doesn't look unhappy, but the way i look at her, i did not feel the way i feel long ago. When we were still friends.

I went home, worst as usual.

"How are you?" Liam asked with a smile.

"Yeah great." I give him flat smile.

"Don't look great." Harry examine me closely.

"Yeah you don't look good." Niall also look closely.

"Cmon guys! I'm great!" I said and i go to my room hurriedly.

There wasn't any sound from the boys anymore so i do my homework and stuffs.

I was still confused with my english project. Talent. What talent do i have?

Ah, singing. Probably. That was the only thing i'm capable of.

Should i ask Alice? Or should i do alone?

Long ago, when we were still friends, we would tend to sing acapella. Believe or not, i can't ever forget about the things that we love to do it together. I know there's some connections between us.

I'll ask her some other time, since the project deadline will be 2 months later.

"Someone is having an arrangement?" I could hear Liam was asking, and there was a murmuring of "no."

I head for the door and saw Sam and John were here.

"Hey guys." I greet them.

"Hey Kate." They spoke out.

"How you doin?" John asked.

"Good."

"About your english project?" Sam asked.

"What project?!" Niall suddenly run and sat beside me.

"English project. We were told to make a video."

"And she was paired with Alice." John blurt out.

"What?! That girl?!!" Niall was probably getting crazy as i did.

"That explain why you weren't on the mood." Liam nodded.

"Probably." I said.

"So, how'd solve it?" John asked.

"Dunno. I'll asked her some other time if she wanted to work with me, or if she'll work alone. Then i'll work alone too." I said.

"Really huh? You'll asked her?"

"Yeah. I'll asked her." Sam understand what that means and she knows that she can't stop me from not asking Alice.

"Let's change the topic! By the way i bought these!" Sam exclaimed and she showed me a piece of paper. Uhm, i think it's a poster.

I open and it was quite large. With a picture of Louis.

"Whoa. Louis is kinda cute here." I giggled.

"I know right! You know i bought these sneakily. My parents won't allowed me to buy these actually.. But i just can't resist and oh myyy!!!"

"I know, i know, you're cute here, Lou." I said, and Harry was poking Lou and he giggled.

I examined it closely, and i saw no flaws in him.

Then on the upper right corner i saw something. A sign.

"What's these?" I asked Niall.

"That's our band sign.1D shortened for One Direction." Niall said.

Then i was striked. Somehow. It feels that i'm striked by a lightning. And i couldn't see anyone.

"Hello???" I could hear but i couldn't see anybody.

Then i dozed off.
