"Ack sorry! i-...." i bumped into someone and instantly ran. i was late for work and i need to hurry.
"Sorry! Traffic was horrible!!" i bowed to my supervisors and they just nodded.
"Hey miss Y/N, can you check the Intern application? find someone who's reliable." my supervisor advised me and i take a look. a guy caught my eye.
Chase lee 19 years old Reliable, marketing major.
"maybe he would be good." i give my supervisor his file. he nodded and agreed.
the next day i called him in. when he came in i was shocked. he was so handsome and he looked sweet.
"A-ah hello! i'm shi qi and 19 years old!" he sat at the chair.
"Hello! Okay let's begin, hi my name is Miss Y/N parker" i introduced as i read his papers.
"Uhm why do you think Yu le ( name of the business) should give you the internship?" i ask as i smile.
"I think that i've been through a lot even if i'm young to know how precious this opportunity is and i know i can do my best." he answered confidently.
then i kept on asking questions until the interview was done.
"okay you can go now, we'll call you later." i stood up as he bowed and left.
i continued with my work and once i was done, i was about to leave when a figure stopped me.
"Miss Y/N.. did i get in?" it was the guy who i had interviewed. It was already midnight and i wondered had he waited for me?
"Oh my! You waited till this hour?! jeez uh let me buy you a drink! you must be cold." i felt bad so i offered him.
we sat at a cafe as i bough him hot cocoa.
"You know Shi qi you can't just wait for someone till this time of day. just wait till we contact you."
" i know but i desperately need this job, i have a little sister and i need to support her." he looks down with sad eyes.
"Sorry but we still can't give any pity or extra care. but may i ask what happened to your parents?" i asked.
"My dad died and my mother had ran away, heh its weird how i'm telling you all this, we just met and all." he smiled while he avoids looking at my eyes
i guess he was trying to hold back tears.
"Sorry to hear that, i was abandoned too." i reassured him.
"I know you'll get in, you seemed the most reliable." i added.
"Really!?" he looked at me with puppy eyes and i choked on my coffee.
he was strange but it was cute.
"It's late let me drop you off." i offered him a ride.
when we arrived.
"Thanks miss Y/N! your really nice!" i say bye and head home.
next day
"miss Y/N send an email to applicant Shi Qi, i guess he's in luck." my supervisor said.
then i happily contact him, i told him he'd get in.
it was lunch as i was going outside i see Shi Qi holding flowers.
"Hmm? what are you doing here?" i looked at him.
"A-ah yeah! i came by to give you these! it's a thank you since i got in! i hope we get along!"
"tch, your really funny and cute you know!" i burst out laughing as he laughs too.
i can tell he's gonna be a great intern. -end
