Small rewrite of an old oneshot

" what if I said I would marry you and stay by your side ? "

The taller male laughed a bit, shagging the other male's hair and sticking out his tongue. " You are too young to know what love is . "

" I'm literally 2 years younger than you though , " the other male whined, stomping his feet in a light fashion.

" I will always be there for you . " The smaller male puffed out his chest and placed them on his hips.

" As so will I , even if i won't be there in spirit, I'll be there in heart. "

" and you say you don't like the company of the same sex "

" hey!! I am NOT gay!! "

I don't want to think about him leaving me all those years ago .

I don't want to feel incomplete without him ..

I want him to hold me tightly in his arms as we win a war that shouldn't of been waged.

We were young, ready to fight by each other's side and fight a war that would drag , like a chess game in a stalemate.

The flower of war bloomed too quickly for our love.

" Do you think... "

" We are loosing. "

" I thought Buck was fighting them back ? "

It still hurts.

When I think about to this year, the year we seperated, our feelings never dying for each other.

My heart wishes I could erase this dark memory that is lodged in my mind, rip it out and sell it to someone.
