"Capsicle for the last time don't let thor eat all my poptarts" Tony stark grumbled after finding the box empty for the 8th time in the last week. Slamming the empty box on the counter in search a finding a decent cereal instead.
"APOLOGIES MAN OF IRON, I SHALL REPLENISH IT WITHIN DUE COURSE" Thors voice boomed from across the kitchen from the living room. "I REQUIRED SUSTENANCE".
"I required sustenance" Tony mimicked whist bringing his bowl to the table to eat. "God I miss living alone".
"let it go tony" Steve said sending Tony a look. "you really should have a more nutritious breakfast than cereal your an adult".
"can it cap, not all of us like cooked food in the morning" Tony sassed shoving his spoon on his mouth with a sarcastic smile.
Steve huffed, getting up to go for a run around Central Park wanting to get away from the billionaire.
"Jarvis, temporarily remove Capsicle's security clearance until he returns with pop tarts" Tony called earning a look from the rest of the team.
"Tony isn't that a bit excessive" Clint smirked, looking at Nat who was sharpening her knives by the window.
" Tough shit I want my damn poptarts".

Three hours away from the avengers tower in the suburbs was a run down house with paint pealing off every crevice and an over grown lawn. The neighbours could hear the yelling from the top of the street
The rowdy couple had moved into the house 5 years ago and had become the talk of the neighbourhood. The woman Christine had stringy dark blonde hair and looked much older than what she was. The man in the house Simon was just as bad with nearly no hair and a large pot belly. Both were heavy drinkers and frequent drug users with strange men coming to their house regularly.
So this screaming match was nothing new to the neighbours. The sound of smashing and loud bang were expected. The scream was not.
Unlike other fights this time a loud high pitched scream was heard by the house next door. A child's scream.
The old lady from the house next door didn't hesitate to call the police this time since she had never seen any child set foot into the house.
The police arrived within ten minutes of the call to the shock of their lives. It wasn't the woman passed out on the rotted old couch with needle scattered around and the empty liquor bottles. Or the mess around the house. It was the thumps from the basement that caught their attention, then the loud cries from behind the door followed by a man's shouting.
The kicked the door down harshly, the door nearly off its hinges and the sound carried down into the basement. Making the cries grow louder. Their feet thumped down the stairs as fast as they could, seeing blood stains cover the floor.
Before they could shine their flashlights around the man Simon barrelled towards one of the officers and tackling them to the floor. Like lightning Simon was pinned to the floor instead, handcuffs tightly securing his wrists and he was dragged upstairs screaming.
The second officer was the once to hear the whimpering coming from the corner. Shining his flashlight and finding a small chained up little girl covered in blood and bruises in the corner.
He took a step forward only for her to let out a scream.
"FRANK WE NEED A MEDIC DOWN HERE NOW!"

The little girl was dragged out of the house screaming at the medics and police. Not liking being touched and terrified.
They had to sedate her to avoid causing further injury and allow for medical treatments that she needed. Starting with blood tests.
