"Two souls, one body. Isn't that what soulmates are?"

"Don't you think that's plethoric, not to mention prodigal?" Felicity looked at the overflowing cart that Killian was tugging, full of nothing but his favorite snack.

Killian rolled his eyes at Felicity's remark, who was currently carrying seven jars of pancake mix. "Well look who's talking, don't you think you're being hypocritical, dear saint of Walmart?"

Felicity gasped, scowling after just being called a hypocrite. "Well this is different, these are essentials. Besides, your parents were the ones who told me to buy 5 more for stock."

"And who said Doritos weren't essential?" Killian scoffed. "You can never go wrong with Doritos."

"A bag or two, that I would understand, but a whole cart, Killian? You're hoarding! And why is your cart leaking water?" Felicity was beyond bewildered. Last time she checked, Doritos wasn't a liquid. She placed the boxes on her own cart and bent to see what was under Killian's cart. And she could only drop her jaws in disbelief.

"Sausages?! Since when did you like sausages, I thought you hated them?" She stood straight and looked at Killian who could only shrug.

"What's going on here?" Felicity turned around to look at a curious Chase who had seemed to come back after buying goods from the hygiene area. Felicity gestured at Killian's cart to which Chase noticed the contents. It was then when he realized Killian bought not only a bunch of Doritos but sausages as well. "I would understand the whole situation with the Doritos since he loves it so much, but the sausages?"

Chase laughed, amused at the whole situation. "Well, you can't be too sure what our alpha is into nowadays."

"Oh, fuck you and your dirty mind, Chase. Fuck off! Get yourself checked." Killian hissed, who was inarguably red from either anger or embarrassment.

"Dirty? Why I've never said anything dirty at all, your highness. Maybe it's your mind and your mouth you should check." Chase gave him a wink while Killian could only grit his teeth, cursing his rival on his head for being such a smartmouth.

"Anyways, I have to go to the other aisle to buy something, catch you in a few." And with that, Chase took off. Killian looked at Felicity who suddenly became silent, her gaze following Chase's retreating figure. Killian furrowed his brows. Felicity was almost too quiet, a trait Killian never knew Felicity had.

"Is something on your mind?" Felicity looked shocked for a moment before she blinked several times. This confused Killian even more.

"Oh yeah, I'm alright." Felicity flashed him a soft smile, before continuing to grab some products on the shelf. And there it was again, the silence that almost felt uncomfortable to Killian.

Killian came to Felicity's side, the latter continuing to inspect the can that she was holding. "Felicity --you know you can tell me anything, right?"

Felicity released a heavy sigh and looked at Killian. "Okay, I need advice."

"So something is troubling you." Killian mused, "I knew it." He grinned, but Felicity could only return a weak one.

"Yeah. There's this friend of mine."
