You woke up and Derek was gone, you got up and stretched and then you heared something in your room and you heared Derek singing in your shower, a song he made up..... you were outside the bathroom door and you were lauging until you decided to go along......

Y/n: " and maybe I'll be that girl, to be able to show you the world" you said singing randomly

Derek: " you'll be my best friend til the end, oh, and I will love, oh, and will hug you, yeah, and you will give me advice if it's not for a price"

Derek and y/n: "ohhhhhh, you are my best friend and I will ever let you go"

Y/n: " I need you"

Derek: " I need you"

Derek and y/n: " I need you to help me stay alive"

Derek stopped and I kept singing ( btw this is a song we made up in middle school, corny isn't it?)

Y/n: " I can't leave you, oh, and your mineeeeeee"

Y/n: " we are best friends, til the end, oh, I will never leave you, oh, and you know it, that is true" you said in a nice singing voice

Derek gets out of the shower but you didn't pay any mind, he puts his head againts the door and listens to you sing. You added a part that was never in the song, and you liked it so you started to sing it

Y/n: " and Derek if you leave me? I will never.... be the same, and if you noticed that call you everydayyy, it's because........I.........don't wanna lose you" you singed softly

Derek started to smile behind the door and then he opened it

Derek: Wow! he said looking suprised

Y/n: Oh sorry I didn't mean t- you said while he cuts you off

Derek: No, it's fine I liked it.......

Derek: I like your voice, I like when you sing it......

Derek: it....... it.......... it makes me feel safe he said looking down smiling

Y/n: Hey, I like the way you sing it too!, and if I make you feel safe then you make me feel safe you said smiling while lifing his chin up

Derek: No like really, I have friends and best friends and all but you.......you.....you are wayyyy different then the others, you were there since day one, you actually helped me when I got bullied in middle school, and even you helped me with my homework or other things when I needed help he said smiling

Derek: I just wanna say thanks for being there because if it wasn't for you I probably wouldn't be here right now he said looking at you

Y/n: Awwww thanks and your welcome, trust me thats all you you said smiling

Y/n: Now put some clothes on you only have a towel around your waist you said laughing

Derek: Oh trust me I will do that he said laughing

You laughed the shutted the door, you waited for him to get out while you were sitting on the bed. He came out the bathroom

Derek: Lets go

Y/n: Wdym lets go? I said looking at him like he was stupid

Derek: Are you serious he said looking at me like you was dumb

Y/n: What? I'm not dressed yet you said looking at him

Derek: I know that dodo he said hitting the top of his head while laughing

Y/n: I'm comin just let me get some clothes on you said laughing

Derek walks out of the room while you put on some cargo pants with a white tank top crop on and your mocha air 1 jordan retros, you just putted your hair in a curly ponytail and got your purse and your keys and went down stairs
