Y/N's POV
Before we knew it, it was time for the next generation to begin their journey at Hogwarts. Hermione and I were living a very peaceful and prosperous life, all was seemingly well. I was getting better and better and soon I was as close to the old Y/N that I could be. My Quidditch career was successful and I had earned a sufficient amount to support my family and on top of Hermione's job at the Ministry, we were comfortable. However, like all athletes, I had to retire and began my life as a family man.
All our families were interlinked, there were countless dinners, gatherings, Christmases, birthdays, you name it we probably spent it all together. We had the Potters, the L/Ns, all of the Weasleys and sometimes occasionally, the Malfoys.
"Mum! Dad! Hurry up! We're going to be late!" I heard a voice call from downstairs. I looked up from the book I was reading and checked the time, we had plenty of time but I knew from first-hand experience you would want to get to the station early on your very first time.
"Coming Mari!" I replied, before getting up and making my way downstairs.
All my children were already downstairs and Hermione was hastily making sure Steven, our eldest son, had everything whilst Marissa, our youngest daughter, was frantically making sure she was fully packed. Our family had two children, one boy and one girl. It was good timing that our children were all a similar age to the children of our closest friends. Our eldest, Steven Orion L/N was the same age as their eldest son, James Sirius Potter and those two were the best of friends. They likened Fred and George with their playful antics and their laid-back and light-hearted personalities.
We also had a daughter, Marissa Joyce L/N, she was the same age as Harry's second son Albus Severus and Draco's son Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. Those three had struck up a close friendship in their childhood years that I was sure would continue during their time at Hogwarts.
Our children were also friends with their older 'siblings', even if they weren't directly related we all felt like one massive family. Teddy had become an older brother figure towards our children and Bill and Fleur's kids, Victoire, Louis and Dominique were also very close to our family. Even though we had no legal relation to the Weasleys, we were as good as related - just like how it was when I was a child.
Ron hadn't found himself with any children yet, he had been in a few relationships but somehow they never lasted.
September the first came around quickly and before I knew it, it was time for our youngest child to go to Hogwarts. The day she got her letter she was ecstatic, ready to go to the place where her parents learned it all.
I had an initial worry that my children may have been taunted at when they arrived at Hogwarts due to the public's perception of me, but how the rest of the Wizarding World saw me changed immediately after the release of a publication written about the events of the Wizarding War. The book involved recounts of Harry's adventure as well as the truth behind my role in the war. I left out some details but informed them of the double agent plan and the prophecy and how I managed to find a loophole.
When that publication was released to the public, everyone began to see me as an equal as Harry. I didn't want all the attention though, I was just glad that my children wouldn't be affected heavily by my own actions. I tried to stay out of the spotlight and just continue living my current life, it was just nice to know that the majority of the community no longer disliked or were fearful of me. There logic was stupid though, why would one of Harry Potter's closest friends actually be Voldemort 2.0? Although it may have looked that way at some points before and during the war, that was never the final intention.
The morning was crisp as we arrived at King's Cross and we made our way to Platforms 9 and 10, Steven pushing the trolley with all his luggage on and his pet owl. Marissa followed her older brother closely, doing the same.
