Lets be friends

Next morning Shehnaaz woke up and was getting ready for her office.
Usually she is very excited to go to work. But today there was something off.Shehnaaz was feeling nervous and awkward.She stareted murmuring "How I am gonna face him?Plus how
will I tell him that I am not interested..
Ohh god please help me!!"
         Shehnaaz reached workplace and
settled down on her table.When she
was busy with her desings..the peon
came "Madam sir has called you in the
cabin."She started getting sweaty.
"Why is he calling me?Does he want to
talk something about yesterday?No yaar I dont want to talk to him."
However Shehnaaz went to his cabin.
            Siddharth in his cabin was busy
with his files.A sweet voice came from
the other side of the door."May I come
in sir?"He looked up from files and a
smile appeared on his face."Arre,
Shehnaaz come in na.."
"Sir, you called me?"Shehnaaz asked
tensely.
"Dont call me sir ..call me Siddharth.
Actually I wanted to ask you about
designs.Are they done?"
She went blank.."Huhh ?"
"Are the designs done?"He stressed again.
"No..no I mean yes yes."She said confused.Siddharth looked surprised
where was his confident Shehnaaz.?His
Shehnaaz?.Then it hit him that it was all
due to yesterday.He confronted her
"Shehnaaz,is someone forcing you
for this relation?Dont be stressed.If you
dont want this,trust me I will cancel
this.."Shehnaaz so badly wanted to
shout."Yes !!I DONT WANT IT.
PLEASE LEAVE ME!"But she didnt because she was scared of her parents.
So looked down and said"No, I dont
have any problem." in a low voice.
"Can we just start with friendship? Like
just friendship? I dont really care of
future..whether we will be together or
not.I just want to know you and be your
friend."Siddharth said looking at
Shehnaaz.He felt that there was something wrong with her which
she was not telling.
        Shehnaaz was partly relieved because Siddharth didnt put any presurre on her.He had a very clear
vision.He just wanted to be friends.
Shehnaaz thought that first she will
befriend him and then will share her
insecurities with him.He seemed to be
a understanding guy.So Shehnaaz
agreed"Ok lets be friends.!"
Hearing this Siddharth felt happy she
is ready to take baby steps.He forwarded his hand and said
"Hi I am Siddharth."Shehnaaz smiled
at him and shaked her hand with him
"Hello I am Shehnaaz."
"So from now ,we are buddies."He said
shouting.
          Next day both of them were discussing about design in his cabin.
"So this is final na sirr?"Shehnaaz said
"How many times I have told you dont
call me sir?"
"Sorry..Siddharth."Shehnaaz smiled.
In that moment Siddharth's phone rang but
he was busy in some files.It was his
naani's call.
"Shehnaaz please put the phone on speaker I am busy here."She complied.
"Haaye my PUTTU!!How are you doing?
Now -a-days you dont call your naani"
Shehnaaz with wide eyes looked at him
in shock.Like his nickname is puttu.
Really?She bursted into laugh after
hearing that.Sid kind of blushed and
felt embaressed.
"Naani ,I am a grown up now.Please
dont call me that."He said hiding his
face in his hands.Shehnaaz was still
laughing.She was tearing up with joy.
After some naani pota talk,he ended
the call.
"Your nickname is..."She couldnt control her laugh.."You You are puttu...
mere boss ka naam  puttu hai"
Siddharth faked anger and said"Ok,na
yaar..thik hai..and dare you tell this to
anyone."
"Request kar."She ordered.
"Please dont tell anyone."He said
dramatically.
"Ok maaf kia...Puttu!"and started laughing again.
"I think you have a lot of work pending
so go now"Sid said making faces.
Recovering from her laughter attack.
She said"Ok ok I will go now! Bye
Puttu.."Saying this she ran out of the
cabin.Siddharth smiled seeing her
antics.For the first time he saw her laughing.It felt so good.But he understood he has to take things slowly.
