"Hiya! If you're trying to reach me right now then too bad. I'm probably eating or sleeping so call me back later or maybe I will if I'm not lazy."

He shook his head, attempting to dial the same number again for the sixth time that night as he was about to burst into tears. Shaking, even under his own blanket, he was.

"Please Lix, pick up..." He prayed silently, only to be let down yet again as his call went straight to the usual voicemail that he wished he never had to hear again.

Sighing, he tried his best to calm himself down as he had woken up earlier from a scarily familiar dream which he considered as a nightmare.

Although, it was almost as if he had forgotten all the details as soon as he pushed the curtains away and looked up at the stars that shone in the night skies.

He sat back down on the bed and gently wrapped the soft blanket around him as he sat up, much more interested in watching the skies rather than sleeping.

"You see that big, puffy cloud over there? That's just how much you mean to me, baby."

He hung his head low upon hearing the voice he hadn't heard in a long time and almost teared up. Shaking his head, he now stood up, closed the curtains, and decided that sleep seemed to be the only option now.

But of course, he could never sleep whilst having tears run down his delicate cheeks and so he ended up staying up all the night as he unfortunately cried endlessly through it.

Whilst glossing over his and his best friend's recent text messages, he couldn't help but chuckle for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

The funniest bit was that their texts weren't even that funny, he just felt like forcing himself to laugh at them for no reason. Perhaps out of pure boredom or just sadness.

Knowing that Felix probably didn't know what was going on in his life other than what he saw on screen was quite humorous in itself.

Heck, he'd even laugh at his own life.

Just looking back at it, it was all just one big joke. And it still was. He practically had no education, no love life, no personality, no redeeming qualities, and no life.

"You think it's my fault, don't you?"

He shook his head, the denial starting to show as the thoughts only got increasingly negative and his emotions starting to decline.

"You always thought it was my fault, didn't you?"

Clenching his fist, he bit down hard on his lip and attempted to chase away the thoughts and voices that would come back to him almost everyday.

Ultimately, he succeeded. But he succeed in the way you'd think he would.

Bang!

Instead, it was a simple distraction that snapped him out of his thoughts.

He got up from his bed and went over to the window with a nervous feeling. Unraveling the curtains, he was immediately met by another rock at was thrown at his sturdy window.

Jumping back, he got on the ground and attempted to peak through the gaps of the balcony pillars and saw a pile of fluff.

As the next rock was thrown with much more greater force, he realized that it wasn't a pile of fluff as it was what seemed to be brown hair.

His original guess would be a thief or perhaps even Felix but after sometime, the rocks eventually stopped coming and he realized that the only person he knew with brown hair was the stranger he bumped into on the way home last night.

But figuring since the stranger was never interested in him in the first place, it didn't make sense for him to be throwing rocks at his window unless he despised him or wanted to catch his attention.

"HEY!" Upon hearing his father's loud shout from downstairs, he instantly plucked his teddy bear up from his bed and ran down the stairs.

"W-what's wrong?" His father didn't say anything but simply glared at him before returning back to the living room, leaving Jisung standing there, dumbfounded.

After sometime, he assumed that his father was most likely just mad because of the stranger(s) who threw rocks at their windows.

But now seeing as there were no more rocks targeting their windows, he felt relieved yet worried as it could potentially happen again without notice.

All in all, it was a strange experience and throughout the entire day, he felt rather disconnected from the world which resulted in him being clumsier than usual and getting yelled at more than usual.

"Watch where the fuck you're going."

"S-sorry dad.."

"Don't fucking call me that."

"S-sorry..."
