A fresh start

It's been 3 weeks since my girlfriend died and it has been a whole lot for me and my whole friend group. We had our graduation though which is something to be happy about but it was not the same it didn't feel alright because Esme and i already planned a party after our graduation but i guess that isn't happening. Katie came for Esme's funeral, Sophia was there but only if it was the graduation party they came for and not a funeral. After everything i don't think i can find happiness again but I'm moving. I want to start my own dance school somewhere not in LA and try to move on from this and everything. Everyone is splitting ways and doing something so i guess i have to and not dwell on Esmeralda i sound selfish but my life can't just be on hold.

so i'm packing my stuff into the moving van and telling my mom bye she can't come with me because of work but we can still keep in touch no Biggy

" aww baby come here I'm really gonna miss you"

" It' s okay mom I'm not dying I'm just moving"

" yeah i know but if you need anything and i mean anything... I'm here okay?"

"yeah mom  i gotta go now I love you"

I get into the car taking me to the airport. I get to the airport and it was so stressful checking in and i had so many luggage's everything was a mess my boxes were falling as i was trying to check in and there was this guy staring at me and laughing ugh such an asshole 

dude can you like be a gentleman and help me???

oh no he's coming towards me did i say that out loud

"i saw you struggling with the boxes and you looked so cute and funny"

" oh i mean i was going to help you but i couldn't help but laugh you looked liked Pikachu" 

" thanks i guess"

" do you mind if i help you?"

"it's fine i got it handled"

" sure about that? you didn't look like it earlier"

" do you mind... i'm running late"

"oh i'm sorry i didn't know you were travelling"

"of course i came to the airport to feed them fishes"

i roll my eyes as i walk over to the counter 

i successfully boarded the plane and as i entered i kept in my headphones  and listened to music 

i slept for a bit and heard the pilot say okay people we're in  Houston

i check out of the airport and go to an hotel because my apartment was not ready yet and as i got into my room i fell on the bed and immediately my phone vibrated. It was katie calling 

"hi kate"

"hype"

"i have great news"

i don't think anything can feel great

" what is it katie"

"first where's my phone"

"katie it's in your hand"

"oh yeah that's right yeah so the news i'm coming to Houston"

" i guess that's great"

" yeah and we're gonna be roomies''
