"Love yourself more than anything or anyone else."
I was dazed at the moment when a familiar figure of a lady stepped in the cafe.
My moment of silence broke as I heard heavy breathes. I gradually walked and followed to where I heard the fuss.
"I'm sick of this world. All my life I've always been living behind my sister's shadow. My parents always scolds at me for always being the number two of all. I wasn't good enough in anything I've ever did. I was never enough. I don't feel like I have worth. Everyone see's me as a piece of trash. I'm useless, my life is useless. I had enough with all this sorrows and agony. I had enough of having such a miserable life. I'm tired! I'm freaki'n tired of everything. I quit!" A lassie's voice wailed out.
My mind already had a clue on what was going to happen so I rapidly run my way towards the voice.
Moments later I saw the lady that was about to take a leap on the cliff, but I briskly grabbed her before she could do so. We both fell off the ground and I specifically landed on my back which caused it to ache. The lady quickly brushed herself off me and sat on the ground. She was probably startled by my presence.
"Hey lady I know you have a problem but what you were supposed to do is not the solution. Cutting off your life will never will." I spoke. Her face was painted in a vague expression and doubtless disoriented.
"Look here's the thing, In life we can never avoid plights or predicament. As long as we live muddles are always there to chase us. Face it, but don't dwell on the matter. Don't bring yourself down, but instead make the mess a staircase that brings you up towards your desires. Circumstances in life are lesson's and steps to know ourselves better, to make us bolder and sharpen our capability. It's all a lesson to learn, for us to use in the incoming day's of our life." I uttered with a perturbed expression.
"But I just feel so worthless and lonely. No one love's me like everybody else." She muttered.
"Love yourself more than anything or anyone else." I spoke which made her raised her head to look at me with weepy amd red eyes.
"Loving yourself is more than enough. Don't let anyone drive your life. Manage it on your own way, the way how you want it to be which makes you feel satisfied. Don't focus on pleasing others, please yourself to be gratified. It's your life and not anyone else's. Live your life for yourself and the fullest to not make things complicated." I've said all of those words not just for the lady but also for myself. I've also thought of quiting, but I realized that I shouldn't, because as time pass by the matter slowly flies with it.
She nodded and murmured "Thank you." I don't know what gotten into me but the next thing I knew I was already wrapping my arms around to embrace the unknown lady. I don't know if it's me comforting her or it's the other way around. I felt like her body is consoling me. Hearing her breathes and hunching on her presence soothes me.
"Thank you too." I muttered which made her give me a woolly face, but I spoke no more and brushed it off aside.
Tonight, one was not the only one who got saved but also I was spared by saving a stranger. It's like she saved me by saving her.
"Kenzo kindly check your phone in the office, it's ringing and someone probably might be calling." I blinked several times and went back to my senses as I heard Kate's voice-the manager which is also a friend of mine.
I gave her a frail smile and slowly nodded which she replied with with a sweet smile. I slipped my way in the office and checked my phone to know that Kate was right. Someone is calling me, specifically Clint. I picked up my phone to answer the call, and as the speaker was on I heard a clamor which probably came from the commotion created by the folk's along with him.
It's his birthday today and wanted to celebrate it in Amour Cafe located at La Castellana which has a deck to sight the outlooks on an exquisite scenery of nature and the arresting vista of the Liaison river.
Meter's away the river has a camp site wherein the cabin's are located and where visitors can set up their tent's overnight. Every night at the camp site the Amour Cafe conducts activities to boast and make the visitors merry at thier stay.
There's also a pool area which has huts around it. It's what trippers mostly avail wherein they'd commemorate occasions such as birthday celebrations, gala, jubilee and jamboree.
At night, besides the camping activity the Amour Cafe is still lively open because of the Cavort Music Box-a bar where patrons can cut a rug and pirouette on the performing band. The crowd could also jig and caper along the troupe on stage.
"Yow Dude we're near the the entrance, care to catch up with us?" I heard Clint's voice speak on the line.
"Yeah dude I'm coming." I edged the call and dropped my phone to fete and convey them.
I immediately made my way to the entrance and greeted Clint and his comrades. Moments later I was benumbed as one of his compeers caught my attention.
"Sorry Dude my sister is with me and insisted to bring her friends along with her." Clint slipped in beside me and whispered.
"It's fine, don't worry about me. That was just all in the past, I've already moved on about the matter." I casually replied which made his expression beguiled.
"Oh really, that's good then." He said while nodding which made me shrug.
"So you won't mind to usher her at the comfort room then. She was complaining a while ago that she really needed to piddle." He uttered.
"Hey Sarah come over here, he'll lead you the way to the restroom." He hollered out that caught the peep's attention.
Sarah excused herself to her friend's and strolled down towards us. Clint liberated himself away from us and slipped into the folk's spot who happened to be babbling.
"Kenken, is that you?" She asked in surprise.
"Yes it's me, and would you mind it's Kenzo please." I avowed and indicated Kenzo.
"Woah that's pretty much formal." She commented in mirth.
"Is there a problem with that?" I inconstantly asked.
"Uh nothing, let's go." She stammered.
I waked ahead to guide her way to the comfort room. We were quiet along the way and as soon as we reached there, she immediately went inside. I stood by the side of the door to wait for her and immediately took a step the moment I heard it creek open.
"Uhm what time do the cafe close?" She suddenly asked and broke the silence.
"Amour Cafe doesn't have a closing time. It's patently open 24 hours." She nodded and made another question."Ah by the way what brings you here?"
"What do you think?" I questioned back in satire.
"Oh right, I didn't know that Clint invited you." She agitatedly spoke.
"Does he have to inform you?" I unwittingly asked which I presumed made her feel mortified because of her silence.
"Uhm excuse me Kenzo can you help us out with VIP1 at the pool?"I heard Kate's voice suddenly approach.
"Ah yeah sure, Actually I'm on my way there." I replied, pertaining to Sarah who's with me and the folk's whom happened to be VIP1.
"Uhm you work here?" Sarah timidly asked but I just brushed her aside and culled the load of refreshment and vittles.
