"Uhhh.... Hello?" the guy waved his hand in front of my face. I continued staring until Eddie came to the rescue and did the order.

"Mate." I whispered, the guy gave.her a confused look.

I shooked my head trying to get it straight again, clearing my throat. I sat in the corner and stared at the floor, blushing. The chair got kicked, I looked up and glared at Richie. He grinned and carried me bridal style to the table the meeting was at. I struggled against his hold. My brother and Richie were taller than me and well built, I must of felt like a feather to Richie. As he sat down he placed me on his lap with his chin on my shoulder.

"Richie." I groaned and felt him smirk. We heard a low growl. "Why did the meeting have to be here?"

"Well sisy, if you paid attention the other time I told you. We have more privacy and free coffee. Okay let me introduce you to the neighboring alpha." Joni said while grinning at me. "Max, don't you remember Logan? We played with him all the time wrestling. Richie, Logan, and I vs. you." Realization hit me as I looked back at him with shock and want.

"Logan!!!!" I jumped out of Richie's lap and tackled Logan pinning him. "Told you I was going to get ya one day." I winked at him as we all laughed. But I stood still as I start feeling the sparks. Logan froze as well staring at me. "Gotta bounce! See ya Dick heads later." I jumped off of Logan and ran from the store.

Logan was a year older than me and his pack stays at the border of the 2 territories. His parents were always friends with ours. Guess the reason I didn't recognize him was cause we haven't seen each other in a long time. 10 years ago. Since we were little I had to protect Jonathan, Richie, and Logan from bullies at our school. I was the tallest and from our cousins had said I had more balls then the 3 boys combined. I'm the one the always gets us outta trouble even if it ment getting hurt. Alpha blood and turning to a mama bear has its perks when we were younger.

As I arrived at the park I didn't realize I was being followed. Especially by the 5 people I left behind. Smirking I ran to the slides. The guys were to big to get in them well besides Jared. Getting halfway on the tube I stopped so they couldn't reach me. I've also noticed that as soon as I got to the park everyone ditched it. People these days always over think things. Next thing I know is I'm being pulled by my ankle down the slide. I shrieked kicking at the person, then poured as I landed on the sand. The hand had traveled from my ankle to my waisy, sending shocks all around me.

"I know you feel them to. Maxi." Logan whispered in my ear. I nodded softly bit stopped myself.

"What of it?" I growled. I know I cared for Logan since we were pups but now wasn't the time to have a mate. Logan would be disappointed but I can't have one at the moment with the problems with the hunters. Even if I'm not at the pack house I must check on Jonathon and help him as much as I can I still need to go to college. I'm skipping one year just so I can relax. Everything is going weird this year, I need to be focused not being lovey dovey with Logan. I shoved him away and we started wrestling with each other. The other 4 came running along and we all got into it. This is not only us having fun but also training.
