Meeting Liza-Jane

Okay so maybe, just maybe, I set the barn on fire but so what? The field-trip sucked anyways. I should probably introduce myself, I am Eliza Theresa Jane Foster. A long name I know, so you can just call me Liza-Jane. Anyways where were we? Ah yes! My best friend, Jamie, had jokingly said that we should set the barn on fire so that we could go home. I thought it was a great idea and kinda, sorta followed through with it since I always have a box of matches on me.

And now we are here. In Mr. Ratizi's office. "Tick-tock, " I hear the clock say. Mr. Ratizi stares us with his hard brown eyes. "What should I do with you? Last time you spilled toxic chemicals on Angela and now you are setting buildings on fire?! Outrageous! I ought to expel you this minute. I would if it weren't for the fact that the 'Big Brains' competition is coming up. You two make a great team and Ii don't want other schools to be able to beat us by using you," he said irritably.

Jamie and I were the smartest kids in the school but we also caused the most trouble. "I shall let it slide this time, but next time it's a week suspension understand?" says Mr Ratizi. "Yes," Jamie and I say simultaneously. "Good, you may leave," replies Mr. Ratizi.

When we get out Jamie rolls his eyes and says, "Really Liza? Really? That's the third time this month!" I wave his comment away and continue to walk down the hallway with Jamie in tow when I see an open closet. "Great!" I think to myself, "This is going to be just like one of those romantic scenes from the movies!"
