Zataheta had wandered out of the Menos Forest, arriving in somewhere new he had not quite travelled to, somewhere that he believed was quite far from his new home, the very home his new friend Kana had brought him. He cared for his new home, Ojo de Aislamiento, it was where he could rest, where his friend lived too.
He took a chance to try and do a bit of hunting himself in the vast desert of Hueco Mundo, barely spending any time in this place. Zataheta had spent the past day exploring the Menos Forest only to come out of here at this strange location, a cliff that the desert reached up to the edge.
"This place... There has been... Many Hollows... Many of... Kana called them Savages... Didn't she?"
His faint ethereal voice asked himself, each word reaching out and gracing the sky, thinking back on the very words that his friend had spoken to him of. The Ape Hollow lifted himself up, leaning back and sitting down as he removed the weight from his fists, relaxing them a bit."I... Think I am alone... This... Is the worst... I hate being... Alone... But... For now..."
Zataheta looked around to see if he could spot any Hollows around him, letting out a faint sigh as he did. His faintly glowing eyes gazing around at the endless desert that lead into the Menos Forest, this place, with every passing moment it became easier to understand.
Having arrived in this state, in this life with no knowledge of who or what he was, with no idea of what he had become, only the sense of being from a name he gave himself. It all helped him, his hunger for other, lesser Hollows had driven him to attain a greater strength, somehow, and these Savage ones would prove to be his true source.
With the help of his new friend, he felt hope that he might attain a greater state, that either of their dreams could come to pass, and despite this, it was the first time he really felt and believed in hope, both in life and in death, his new life as a Hollow finally giving him what he really deserved.
With a hand, he picked up a small handful of Sand and brought it up to his mask, looking at it closely, it surely was something to study, as were those crystaline trees, and the various creatures that existed here, the different kinds of Hollows. He wanted to study them all, most importantly to become the legendary creature that his friend Kana spoke up, a Arrancar, much like she is now.
While keeping some sand in his hand, he got up, returning to his nomral travelling mode, resting most of his weight on his fists as he began to wander off again. Travelling back into the endless desert, the forever forest of the Menos. He was returning home to Ojo de Aislamiento, that beautiful white maze that always lead him to the chapel, his place of rest, his home.
