Chapter 4: Discomfort

~When the managers make dinner~

Yachi, Kiyoko, Yukie, Kaori, Mako, Hana, Mai, Eri, Runa, and Aoi, all were in the kitchen. They all were talking. Hana asks Aoi, "Hey, Aoi! How are you and Kenma?" Aoi answers in a quiet tone, "We're doing great!" Kaori sees a type of ring on Aoi's hand and asks nicely, "Aoi, what's the ring on your finger?" Aoi blushes and stutters out, "An e-engagement r-ring!" All the girls squeal out of excitement. Kiyoko asks, "So how are you related to Tanaka and our coaches if you don't mind me asking?" Aoi politely answers, "I don't mind. My mom is dating Ryu's aunt and Ittestu Takeda is my uncle as he's my mom's brother. Don't tell anyone but last summer your coach Keshin Ukai married my uncle. My uncle hasn't changed his last name to Ukai yet." Kiyoko says, "I've always shipped them." Aoi smiles and nods.

~After everyone ate and were just talking~

The managers were all wearing comfortable clothes. Yachi was wearing her normal clothes. Kiyoko and the other managers were wearing sweatpants or leggings with a t-shirt and jacket. Aoi was wearing a black skirt with rainbow thigh-high stocking, a pastel/baby pink with strawberries on his shirt, and above ankle pink converse. It was someone who would come and check things out that said, "Who's the cute girl/boy? I want her/him." Aoi knew they were talking about him. He got slightly uncomfortable from the staring he was getting from the boy and started to shift around on his feet. Kenma wasn't in the cafeteria. Ryu looks up and sees that Aoi was uncomfortable and looked around him to see who or what was making him that way. Ryu knew that it wasn't what he was wearing as he wears those types of clothes all the time. Ryu notices a grown man looking at Aoi. Ryu got up and a couple of people understood what his Arora was. Nishinoya, Ennoshita, and Hinata look up at Ryu. Ryu was always over-protective once he found out about his soon-to-be cousins' past. Ryu goes to Aoi and wraps his arms around his shoulders in a protective way pulling Aoi into his chest as he glares at the grown man that was staring at him. Ennoshita wasn't jealous of Aoi as he heard so much about his and that they were going to be cousins. Ennoshita knew a little bit of his past but not much as Ryu told him so that he would understand. Ennoshita would be jealous if they weren't almost cousins or best friends or siblings. Ennoshita also met him a couple of times. Hinata and Ennoshita both go over Ryu and Aoi. Aoi was shaking in fear of the grown man that was staring at him. Aoi was on the verge of crying. Yamamoto and Yaku got a sense meant something was wrong, upsetting, or discomforting with Aoi. They called the sense 'Aoi's sense'. Each level of the sense was different. The discomfort was the strongest one. Yamamoto and Yaku look up at each other and nod. They begin to search for Aoi. They both see Ryu, Hinata, and Ennoshita and knew that the boy in Ryu's arms was Aoi. Yaku and Yamamoto go over to them. Yaku opens his arms for Aoi to go into. Aoi runs into Yaku's arms. Yaku rubs Aoi's back gently. Yamamoto asks Ryu, "Tanaka, our Aoi senses went off. Can you tell us why?" Ryu nods and puts his fingers to his lips. Ryu then moves his head in the direction of the grown man was. They understood. Yaku says to Hinata, Ennoshita, and Ryu, "Thanks, we'll take him somewhere safe for now!" Yaku picks up Aoi as Aoi began to cry. When Yaku picks him up, Aoi wraps his arms around his neck. Aoi cries into Yaku's shoulder. Yamamoto wanted to beat up the guy that was staring at his kohai inappropriately. Yamamoto could tell that Ryu wanted to do the same thing. Yaku and Yamamoto walk away going to the room their team is staying in. Ryu goes up to his coach and says, "Coach Ukai, the man over there was starting at Aoi inappropriate..." Ryu points to where the grown man is. Ukai looks at the guy and tells Ryu, "Thanks for telling me, Tanaka!" Ryu nods.

~With Yaku, Yamamoto, and Aoi~

As Yaku carried Aoi, he could feel his shirt on his shoulder was sticking to him meaning that Aoi was crying. Yamamoto tells Yaku, "I can carry him if you want..." Yaku thought for a second and sadly but quietly says, "Sure, but be careful. I think he cried himself to sleep..." Yamamoto nods and carefully takes Aoi out of Yaku's arms. Yamamoto adjusts Aoi into a comfortable position. After walking for 2 minutes, they made it to their room. Yaku stops Yamamoto and says, "Stay here. I'm going to make sure that the room is quiet so no one wakes Aoi up." Yamamoto nods. Yaku goes into the room. He comes out a minute later. Yaku motions for Yamamoto to come in. Everyone was already told what happened. Kenma motions for Yamamoto to give him Aoi as he would change him into pj's. Yamamoto gives Aoi to Kenma. Kenma takes Aoi into the locker room and not the bathroom. As the locker rooms had a table that he could use. When Kenma goes into the locker room, he sets a blanket down and places Aoi onto the blanket. Kenma changes Aoi's pull-up into a night diaper just in case he has an accident during the night. Kenma puts Aoi in his cat onesie. Kenma picks Aoi up. Kenma puts his blanket over Aoi and his own back to keep it from falling. Kenma goes back to their team room. They all awed at the cuteness of Aoi. They all knew that he was a little and they all cared for him. Yamamoto and Yaku were like parents to him out of the team as they had their 'Aoi Sense'. Kuro was like an older brother to him. Kenma as his fiance which was true. Everyone thought of Aoi as the baby of the team. Everyone at Nekoma on the other teams was also protective of him.
