Welcome my dear friends, yet again to another Golden Trio Era recommendation. Honestly this one was different in a way. It is about a girl from Sri Lanka. As an Asian (Indian to be exact) I loved that it had some kind of representation.
She was that book-ish, yet funny and sociable girl, who attended for a muggle school in Asia for years. That was until her father insisted they move to Britain. It was a new experience for her... going to middle-school in a country she'd never before kept her foot in. She'd hated how kids bullied her for her race, she hated the school.
That was before she got her Hogwarts letter.
Wild with joy and excitement, she makes her way into the wizarding school, hoping people would accept her... and they did! Except for the Slytherins.
She had hope for a year without chaos. But then the Dark Lord made multiple attempts to return, so obviously, there's chaos.
Then came the family problems. And it didn't help that she fell in love shortly after.
This story is about Ashlyn Clyborne's life at Hogwarts.
