Jane walked home slowly. It was dark outside and it was even sprinkling. She passed by a lamp post and it went out. She jumped as it went out, as if things weren't scary enough. She continued walking and thunder rumbled in the distance. She hugged herself and tried to block out the cold. Her shoes made soft thuds after each step, and then she heard other footsteps behind her. She stopped walking and she continued to hear footsteps, she turned around to see a figure standing under the lamppost.
"Hello?!" Jane called out quietly, but she got no reply. She turned back around and walked faster. The footsteps behind her began to fasten their pace as she did.
'Maybe it's just my footsteps echoing, maybe I'm just imagining things.' Jane thought. She was suddenly grabbed by her shoulder and she was spun around. She faced an older man, maybe around his 40's or 50's and she started to freak out.
"You know what happened, don't you?" He said quietly.
"About what?..." Jane asked out of curiosity.
"About the murders. About the bite of 87' and you know where the bodies are..."
"Do you know?.. Maybe you can help me,,,"
"Yes, I was an old night guard back in 87'. I worked at the other place, listen, we need to talk later. Meet me back at the Pizzeria Tomorrow night." He said quickly as he walked away quickly, as if he was running away from someone.
"Oh, I..." Jane stuttered, then she sighed and walked home faster as it began to rain harder.
Next day
Jane shuddered as she put her purse down in the kitchen. It had gotten colder and the pizzeria was too cheap to add in heating. The cooks did their usual thing, you know, making the pizza, creating the sauce. The usual. Jane exited the kitchen and into the dining hall to take a party's order. She took their orders and watched as the kids wore eyepatches and kids carried fake guitars everywhere. Bonnie and Foxy was everyone's favorite. Personally, Jane didn't give a fuck about all of the animatronics. They tried to kill her, and that's all she cared about. She gave the order to one of the cooks, and he just sighed and started to cook faster. With out Kate, everything was quiet. The cooks were always quiet and the guard was always in his office recording messages for the night guards. She decided she could try to talk to him, he used to be a night guard, so maybe he had tips for her. Soon it was her break and she took the left hallway to get to his office. She jogged there, and she wondered if foxy ever got tired of running down this hallway. It was longer than she thought, and by the time she got there, she was panting.
"Hey!...//pant//" Jane called out. She must of scared him because before she entered he shrieked and shut the door.
"Great, I'm not Foxy coming to get you. I'm just here to ask you questions!" She reassured him.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm superstitious about this place, especially when people run down these hallways, preferably this one." He sighed as he opened the door.
"I was wondering, if you have any tips for me as the night guard. I know you used to be the night guard, and I just wanted to see if you had any tips."
"I can record them for you..." He replied shyly
"Should I just call you Phone guy? Because you only talk to your phone! Try talking to me, a REAL human being!" Jane replied angrily. "I don't want a phone recording, I want to talk to a human being!" Jane was really frustrated, she wanted to talk to him, not listen to his phone recordings.
"Oh, well I'm sorry. I don't really talk to people, no, not really..." Jane could tell Phone Guy was really shy, and or depressed.
"Listen, I'm sorry for yelling at you, I just wanted to speak to someone, and I want to survive..." Jane said as she started to reach her hand out as if to comfort him, but he freaked out and shut the door.
"FUCK YOU THEN!" Jane yelled angrily. She knew kids wouldn't be able to hear her. She jogged away because her break was over, and she continued her daily duties.
Night
Jane waited outside for that guy she had met the night before. He said he was one of the old night guards, and could help her. Jane soon saw him walking towards the building.
"Hey girly girl." He said jokingly as he patted her back.
"Hey, you-" Jane replied shyly.
"Jeremy, call me Jeremy. Anyways I came to help you, and how many nights have you been working?" He asked
"About 3 nights, about."
"Ooh, okay. The nights get harder as you progress. It's like a video game, imagine the bosses, the first is easy, then the bosses get harder."
"What do you mean by get harder?"
"The animatronics will get more frequent, they will appear outside your door more frequent, and foxy will come out if you don't check him every 3 minutes. Of course, you're lucky. Where I worked, we didn't have doors, only Freddy's mask."
"That must suck,"
"Yeah, well let's get inside while the night is still young."
"Yeah, while the night is still young..." Jane murmured.
