Wedding rituals started. The moment Baraat reached the venue my eyed got busy in searching for her

Finally During the exchange of  garlands I found her standing  beside me  she was looking like an angel directly landed on Earth from God's embrace dressed in Pink Saree
she was looking at the bride and groom

And me in those 2 minutes I had planned design of our engagement ring to our old age home

Main rituals were going on phere and putting of sindors etc. 
My eyes were searching for her she was no where I don't know why I decided to look for her

Finally after struggling for minutes I peeked out of the hotel's Window from 5th  floor, I saw a girl sitting on the boundary wall of the backyard.
I quickly came down and ran to her she was trying to pull something
It was around 3  to 4 feet boundary

"What are you doing here?" I asked from a distance

"Partying aap bhi karenge?? Can't you see I m stuck here" She tried to figure out how I landed there

"but what made you to sit on the wall at 2  in the night? what exactly you were trying to do?" I bombarded her with a series of questions

"let me remind you once again You are not yet an Ips officer, har jagah bus police station khol ke baith jate hai" she irritedly replied

"Ha toh ab kya kar rahi ho come down" I shouted

She was busy in pulling her Saree which was stuck in the joints of two rods

"come on jump I will catch you"

"Oh hello this is not a tv show jo 50 kg ki heroine catch kar loge if I did that here ek bhi bone nahi bachegi body me fir bante rehna Ips" She loudly laughed at her own joke

"Bappa at this hour of night, and in such situation too you are more interested fighting with me"

"you started!!! I will come down the way I climbed you just go and find something knife blade scissor anything" she ordered

I found everywhere guess what I found just a nail she snatched it from my hand nailed on the cloth and after 15 20 knocks she managed to pull out her saree by tearing it out

She jumped down on the other side proud of her Victory

I too followed her I still wonder How she managed to  climb up jump off in saree when I struggled in trousers

"Now can you please tell me what were you trying to do?" I asked

"I was going back to the hotel to change but accidentally took wrong  turn and this exit gate wasn't open I had 2 choices either to go a kilometre back or simply climb the wall to the other side. The later seemed more easy but Unfortunately you saw what happened" she tried to act innocent

"but you should have asked someone to accompany you its too late, Its not safe"

"I think you are forgetting I'm daughter of  brave Police  officer! I know how to protect myself" she defended

"I don't have any doubt on that" I remembered her punch while holding my stomach

"haa aapko to pata hi hoga" she laughed

"Can  I walk with you to the hotel" I nervously asked

"As you know I m not an Ips officer yet so for my protection can you come with me" Inner me was praying please let me

"come come Sai Joshi will protect you from all the dangers" she smiled

Hotel was hardly a kilometre away there was a Railway crossing fortunately it was closed at that very moment

"Is there any other way" she asked

"oh yes!! there is you can dig a tunnel" I mocked

"this was very bad" yet she laughed

There was soothing silence next few minutes

" Virat Sir!!" she broke the silence

"haa" I nodded

"What were you doing there, leaving your own brother's wedding?"  she inquired

"Actually I saw one 'Bandar' climbing the wall'

"hww you are calling me bandar" she showed her fake anger, she looked too cute at the moment that I felt like pulling her cheeks

"oh sorry not Bandar( I took a pause) Bandariya" I burst into laughter

"Virat Sir" she lightly smacked on my arm

"Achha sorry, don't make this monkey face now"  I jokingly said

She softly smiled  and Thankfully she didn't inquired more than that. .

"Chaliye If it gets closed again I'm going to make you seriously dig a tunnel" she said as the crossing opened. We reached to the hotel she asked me to go back

"Aree khatra abhi tala nahi hai  how I' m gonna walk into at this hour of night"  I chuckled

"fine wait then" she beamed and came back in a simple yet elegant  plain peach coloured kurta she has tied her hair into a huge bun.

We  started walking back to the venue
I was struggling to find right thing to ask in my mind

"Virat sir" she calmly said

I nodded
"why do you wanted to become an Ips officer?" she asked

I was bit stunned at her unexpected question

"Remember you once said our system is so corrupted Well I wanted to become a part of this system so that I can make this system a bit better I can't completely vanish this corruption in one go but at least I can make some efforts for it, you know Sai in our country people are afraid of Police more than thieves and robberers. I want to get over that fear in people so that they consider Police as their friend not an enemy and I think I have that ability" I completed my monologue

She was calmly staring at me

"Kya hua?"  I waved my hand to break her eye lock

"nothing I was expecting the same old reply 'desh ki seva karne ke liye, this was a bit you know!! " she softly replied

I smiled in retun

"but I hope these aren't just words you mean all this"

"Shambha take(100% percent) ab who will lie to a brave police officer's daughter right"

This made her to burst into laughter

"By the way, have you noticed something?"  I queried

"you can talk to me without fighting too"  I continued

"what do you mean I fight with you? jaise aap to bahut acche hai na" she fluttered

"well I m not that bad either that's why you shared your chocolates with me right?!" I amusedly said

She was looked at me upside down and and laughingly said

"Bappa It was  strawberry and Orange flavour and I don't like it I was actually searching for someone to pass it on you just became billy goat at the moment"
she kept laughing for another few minutes

"you look good while laughing" she immediately stopped laughing

"you look funny in anger"  she teased

I wanted that path to never end but we reached the venue. . .

She happily waved bye to me and went back to her friends

I decided not to rush with her things and just go with the flow!!
