"Sasuke.... why?! WHY DON'T YOU JUST COME BACK TO THE VILLAGE?!" A blonde, boy, named Naruto wheezed out from under Sasuke's face. Naruto had been pierced by a Chidori, from none other than Sasuke.
Sasuke's reply came in a cold tone. "Konoha holds no love for me. Isn't it obvious? Orochimaru cares more for me than that stupid council."
"Very well." Naruto said.
"W-what?! You're just letting me go?" Sasuke yelled, shellshocked.
Naruto suddenly got up, as if there was a force pulling him.
"I'm coming with you." Naruto's voice had took a sinister and dark tone, and his eyes had turned red.
"Why?" Sasuke managed to say.
"Because Konoha does not have any love for me whatsoever. They treat me like a demon, even though I am a Jinchūriki, not the fox itself. They beat me every day with alcohol bottles, kunai, shuriken, jutsu, and the occasional assassination attempt. Oh, but they were wrong to attempt those. Because I befriended the Kyuubi one of those days. I've been hiding my actual personality behind an idiotic mask, Sasuke. This is the real me. Sasuke, I know more than you how it is to loose a family. I have no family myself, Sasuke. My whole clan, the Uzumaki were wiped out by Three entire villages, Sasuke. Sasuke, three ENTIRE VILLAGES! INCLUDING KONOHA! And yet, they keep my clan's emblem wherever they go. It's a disgrace. Sasuke, Orochimaru will only use you for your body. Why do you think he needs a boy with the Sharingan?" Naruto explained to Sasuke.
Sasuke nodded. "Then we'll be on our own, then. And maybe, just maybe, we can rebuild Uzushio.... Aniki."
Sasuke and Naruto leaned on each other as they limped away from the battle site.
"Thanks... Otuoto."
