Chapter 3: Farewell. For Now.

(Naruto POV)

"W-what? How? This isn't what I predicted at all! I expected that Ashura's reincarnate would be trying to stop Indra's reincarnate from leaving from revenge. But instead here they are, together, working against the very thing that their predecessors created. I can't believe it." Hagormo Muttered.

"So We're Indra's and Ashura's reincarnates, ne?" I asked, my voice deeper and smoother but the dangerous edge was gone.

"Yes. And since I know you are both on the path of peace, I shall hand my power over to you. My time is going. Naruto, I give you Wood Release, and half of my Chakra. Sasuke, I give you my rinnegan and Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. You both will be the heir to Ninshu, as such your chakra will become extremely dense to the point that using even the most complex justu will be almost effortless. I trust that you will pick the right choices. Rid the world of hatred. Good luck, my decendants. Finally, I can return to Mother, and apologize." Hagormo said as he shone with light, and dissapeared. Kurama was crying uncontrollably, and I moved towards him and he instantly jumped into his chibi form and sobbed on my shoulder.

"Shh... Kurama... It's okay. He'll be able to live happy on the moon. I'm here for you, Kurama." I tried to comfort him.

"I just can't believe that Oji-san is gone... But he'll live happily and I'll stand up for you, Naruto. And you, Sasuke." Kurama said.

We exited the mindscape, to see that only seconds had passed.Blood dripped on the floor. Suddenly, there was cheering. From none other than Tsume Inuzuka. Then came Shikaku Nara. Then Chouza Akimichi. Then even some cheers and whoops from the stoic and silent Hiashi Hyuuga and Shibi Aburame. I smiled warmly. 

"Farewell, Konoha. For Now. We shall return."
