Emma doesn't know how long she's been in the basement. Hours? Weeks? Months? The days were running together, and she didn't know how much time she had until her wedding day.
Click. Clack. Click. Clack.
"Emma, my dear, dear sister. How have you been?" A tall, beautiful, blonde would say as she walked down the stairs.
"J-Jenna, why are you doing this?" Emma said as she squinted her eyes due to the light being bright. "You really want me to go over this again?" Jenna would grab a chair and put it in front of Emma then sit down. "I want the life that mom and dad denied me the minute they gave me away."
Jenna would lean forward and run her hand over her sister's face. "You have the perfect job, the perfect fiancé, and the perfect life. So I am taking that from you."
"You're fucking crazy Jenna!"
"Tell me something I don't know." She would stand and walk over to a corner of the basement and grab a shovel. "No one is going to miss you. They'll never know you left."
Emma would start crying and begging for her life.
Jenna walks over and slams the shovel across Emma's face multiple times, showing no mercy.
----------------------------------------
Jenna pulled Emma's lifeless body through the yard to a pre-made grave.
"Now you'll know what it feels like to be forgotten, bitch."
She throws her sister's body into the grave and begins covering her up with the dirt.
After an hour or two, Jenna walks back to her house and walks inside. The bitch got what was coming for her. She walks to the sink and begins washing off the dirt and blood on her hands. "I just got a manicure dammit."
Jenna drys off her hands and walks over to where Emma's belongings are. I need to freshen up before I go to Jaime's house. She grabbed the almost dead phone and walked to her room. As she was walking, she looked at all of the missed phone calls from Jaime. "I'll call him back when I'm done." Jenna whispered as she entered her room and opened her dresser.
She pulled out fresh jeans and a t-shirt and then walked into the bathroom. "This has been the worst night ever." Jenna undresses and turns the shower water on warm.
Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.
"Shit."
Jenna would pick up the phone and answer it. "Hello?"
"Emma, where the hell are you? You've been gone for hours."
Jenna would take a deep breath. "Jaime, I'm okay. I just got hung up at my.. friend's house. I'll be home soon."
"Alright, don't be gone much longer. Tonight's movie night, and you're picking. I love you."
Jenna got butterflies when she heard him say that. "I love you too Jaime."
