Honeymoon???
I smiled at that thought...Staying in Mumbai for the last 15 years it would be a joke if I say I came for a honeymoon to Panchgani. Just 245 kms away and I am on a 3 days 2 nights package with her. Basically a weekend off including a Friday that too after 2 months of marriage.
An arranged marriage. No complaints though. Saiyoni ...my wife is an extremely soft spoken, silent and a humble lady.

It's never easy to leave this city of dreams which fulfilled mine too. So dad built a hospital for here as well. We treat rich and poor equally here. One such day my now father in law Raja Vijayendra Singh Rathore, king of Udaigadh who was on a vacation with his wife Rani Padmini had brought his wife now my mother in law complaining of a stomach ache. Discovering a uterus infection, I treated her and she recovered soon. Raja sahab was extremely impressed with the treatment I provided her. He gradually got friendly with me and one fine day dad told me that they have received a proposal for my alliance with the Princess of Udaigadh.
I didn't want to marry but my mother Mrs Nandini Singh Thakral was a clever woman. She told me I don't have to visit them just see the picture, talk on phone and say a yes or no!!!
Look!!! It isn't easy ok!!! I saw her picture... Believe me she was beautiful. But then dude there are photo editing softwares and anyways I'm a doctor. I know beauty fades away with time. Is Useless!!!
So I decided to talk to her... I spoke to her via a phone call although I preferred video conferencing but Rajasa was quite a conservative man. She sounded humble on the phone yet I wasn't sure if I could live with someone like her whom I barely know.
