"Don't you want to return to the human world?"

He remembers what Opera said to him. 'I...' And then an old memory popped into his head and it was a cat, who meowing at him as it ran up to him and slept into his lap.

'Huh? Is that... A cat...?' He soon fell into sleep with his mouth open while holding his ranking badge, leaving one question left in his head.

(3rd person's POV)

The bell roars, signaling all of the students to head to their classes now. While the Misfit Class waited for their teacher, a new person came into their classroom. He has bright green hair and yellow eyes, being very short in height compared to the standard adult demon, and his clothing had various shades of green.

H smiled at them and announced, "nice to meet you, everyone! I am your new teacher on the subject of familiars..." A name appeared on the board as he pointed out, "Balse Robin! It's a pleasure to meet you all!"

"Yes, I was so wrapped up in preparing to teach that I forgot about the entrance ceremony," he explained. "Sorry, my first day ended up being so late! My attention span is really bad at times," he went over to the window while staring outside then quickly slide back to his position, "but I'll make sure classes are conducted properly! Let's all do our best together! Hip, hip, hooray!" He cheerfully said, causing everyone inside the classroom to sweatdrop at his enthusiastic personality.

'So optimistic...' Akane thought, feeling motivated along with sparkled aura suddenly appeared around her. Then Clara stood from her seat and said, "sharp sensei, yeah!" The happy-go-lucky teacher went over to her and said, "now, listen. If you want to say that line properly, it's actually 'sharp focus, sensei'!"

"I see! Sharp, sharp!" Clara nodded her head as she understood.

Robin went back to the teacher's desk, "okay! Let's get started! Our first lesson is... Interacting with your familiars," he said. When he said that, at the corner of her eyes, Akane gazes at Iruma since she remembers that his familiar was none other than Kalego (Sullivan kinda snitches on him to tell her the details). She can tell from the look on his face, things would not go well with him.

They all headed outside of the classroom where they can summon their familiars. "Listen well," Robin said. "Your familiar is basically your partner. Your one and only partner. Today, you're going to get some special bonding time with them!" He explained.

"Let's start with... Asmodeus Alice-kun!"

"Yes, sir." Asmodeus walks in the center as he summons his familiar. "Gordon Snake!" He yelled out as a large, white snake with fire on the tip of its tail, along with wings and horns, appears at his side. "Amazing! You have a Gorgon Snake!" The green-haired teacher was surprised to see his familiar.

"Hmph! Mine is even more amazing!" Sabro smirks. He then summons next to his familiar and shouts, "come forth, Kelbie!" A large mutant-like beast that appears to be a mix of a horse and a fish, it has two front limbs, two large fins across its back, and a long tail fin. It has one large horn and appears to have several fangs attached to its mouth.

"Whoa, a Kelbie!" Robin exclaimed. "They're both excellent familiars! We're off to an awesome start!" He said. Akane was impressed to see her two classmates' familiars as they both glare at each other with a strong aura, even their familiars too.

"Unlike your familiar, Kelbie actually has legs! And behold its mane!" Sabro cockily said as he patted his familiar. "Behold my Gorgon Snake! Look at how it admires me so," Asmodeus told him as the snake leans to his touch. Everyone was watching them as they both continue to arguing at each other.
