"Oh, [Name]! What brings you here?" Venti laughed confidently, ignoring your comment as you deadpanned.
"... We share this room?"
"Haha!"
He quickly turned around, avoiding your gaze before stiffly trotting to his room, slamming the door shut with a bang! as you stared blankly after his form.
"Huh," You blinked, comical arrows pointing at where Venti once stood.
I guess self love is good. Shrugging, you began to boil some water, shuffling through the cabinets for some tea leaves.

Slamming his face into the pillows, Venti began to rethink his life decision. Just why did fate allow you to barge in when he was in the middle of his rehearsal? Wow. The Celestial gods wanted him dead, right?!
Right.
Packing his bags and preparing to move all the way to Fontaine to start a new life, Venti's jaw dropped once you knocked on the door (for once), the warmth of your presence seeping through the cracks and crevices of the overly-big wooden slab.
"Venti? I made some green tea."
"Eh? [Name]?" Venti opened the door, hand moving to your forehead as if he couldn't believe you made him tea out of the kindness from your heart. No way!
"Do you have a fever?" The bard asked incredulously, earning a smack on the head and a string of curses muttered to his archon name.
"I'll give you a fever," A flame was lit in the palm of your hand.

When asked why Venti loved you, the bard couldn't come up with an answer himself.
Maybe it was because you reminded him of the wind. You slipped in between his fingertips, seeping into the sky and brushing his hair with your generosity.
Or maybe it was because you were like a bird. So free and bold, yet restricted by the atmosphere and stars above.
Venti loved you— not because you were free, but because you understood who he was.
Surprisingly, Venti's heart was surrounded by hurricanes and strong wind currents. Scarred hands and memories plagued his very existence, his ballads barely supporting him up from the void beneath.
Yet in that abyss. The abyss of his heart and mind, you lit a fire. You guided him back home, to Mondstadt.
It was you who experienced the Fontaine plays with him. It was you who carried him through the sand dunes of Sumeru because he was so dehydrated. It was you and always you because Venti had never met anyone quite like yourself.
