Zombie Apocalypse

Prologue

*THIRD PERSON P.O.V.*

One day five scientists were working in their lab. They were working on how to make people be able to heal themselves when they are sick or hurt. But, that all goes wrong. The first scientist was mixing the chemicals while watching a show on the TV.

'The five scientists here in New York are, what residents say, insane. For almost 10 years they have been said to be working on a special chemical that no human has ever even seen yet. They say they are going to change the course of history forever! But, since they have had many fails in the past, and by many I mean thousands, this will probably never happen. But, if you live near any if them, stay aware that they might have test subjects that are dangerous.' The news reporter says. The first scientist shuts off the TV and scowls.

"We are not insane. We are all highly smart people." He says. All of the scientists nod their heads in agreement to his statement.

"I couldn't agree more." Says the second scientist. She quickly runs over to the computer and types away, not even glancing back at her station that has a chemical mixture happening. She keeps typing away until all of the scientists hear the door to the lab open. In comes Peter, the person that will be testing out the chemical. The second scientist smiles at him and helps him get comfortable into the seat. The third scientist grabs a needle and puts it into the chemical, sucking some of the green liquid out of the container and into the small needle. He takes the needle out and examines it. Peter looks at it nervously as the scientist walks over to him.

"Peter, this will only sting for a second. This is a healing chemical. If you are ever sick it will heal you. But, once you turn 90 then the chemical will wear off. We can't have immortals on Earth now can we?" The fourth scientist says with a small laugh. Peter chuckles as well and is instantly calmed by the fourth scientist's soothing voice. He relaxes a bit and gets a little more comfortable into the chair. The fourth scientist smiles at his accomplishment to get the patient calm and softly straps him into the chair. Peter gets a little scared and nervous again but the scientist reassures him that it's for his and everyone else's protection. In case Peter gets affected by it and gets a little out of control. Peter nods his head and the third scientist comes closer to him with the needle. Right as the needle is about to go into his neck scientist number five comes into the room, not wanting to miss this historic event.

All of the scientists, and Peter, take a huge breath and scientist number three jabs the needle into the soft skin. He takes the needle out and all of the scientists stare at Peter in wonder. Peter looks at them all confused.

"I don't feel any different. Did it work?" He asks. All of the scientists shrug their shoulders and right as scientist number two is about to go to the computer to check and see if it did work, Peter starts to twitch. He starts shaking uncontrollably and all of the scientists start to get scared. They back away just as Peter starts screaming ear piercing screams. They all cover there ears except for scientist five, who falls to the floor and blood starts to come out of his ears. All of the scientists look to each other and give each other a look that says, 'what have we done?' just as Peter rips away from the metal straps that are holding him down. He lunges at all of the scientists and, unfortunately for the scientists, he is able to bite all of them. They all turn into the monster he is within a matter of minutes. They all stand up and once they have balance, they all run to the laboratory doors and rip them off their hinges.

They all run down the hallway and out the front doors and into the crowded streets of New York. They all start biting people like crazy and when they are done biting most of the people on the street they move onto the next one, and the next one, and the next one until finally, all of New York is a designated wasteland filled with...
