"Taehyung, not that I don't love it, or you, because I do love you, very much in fact, but are you ever going to remove your hands from my hair?"
After Jeongguk arrived home with his long locks cut short, Taehyung almost burst into tears. Ever since then Jeongguk has had his head in his boyfriend's lap, laying across the bed as Taehyung kept running his fingers through his newly cut hair.
"I don't think I can, Ggukie. This was so sudden!" He whined, "I just can't comprehend the length."
This earned a chuckle from the younger man. "It's just hair, Tae. It'll grow back."
"Not fast enough," he mumbled, carding his fingers through his short black hair once again.
"I didn't realize you were so emotionally attached to it..."
"What, me fawning over your hair every ten minutes wasn't enough of a hint for you?" Taehyung paused. "Sorry, that sounded mean." He went back to softly stroking the hair. "I just wish I would've had a heads up...or that you wouldn't have cut it."
"Tae," Jeongguk started. 'You're being a little dramatic' is what he wanted to say but chose the safer route of, "Let's go to bed and you can miss my hair more in the morning."
"Okay," Taehyung sighs, brushing his hands along the locks one last time before allowing the younger man to get up and lay properly in bed, facing his love.
"I promise I'll grow it back," he whispered into the new found darkness after he switched the bedside lamp off.
"Maybe don't for a while," Taehyung responded.
"Oh? I thought 'missing Jeongguk's hair hours' was open. What happened?" He asked amused.
"You rolled your sleeves up and I saw your tattoo sleeve and I realized you're lowkey ten times hotter...but the long hair was just...ugh! Chef's kiss!" he exclaimed into the darkness.
"So no matter what, I'm hot, right?" he smirked.
Taehyung wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him close, burying his forehead into the other's warm chest. "Of course you are. To me anyways."
"Psh! Whatever. I'll have you know that I think you're always beautifully attractive," he stated, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend's middle.
"Of course you do, I'm freaking amazing," Taehyung teased.
"You really are."
