chapter 2:my birthday{pt 2}

Kyra's p.o.v

I walked over to where my mom sat on the rock. Kasey kept looked around checking if he could see any service,but there was nothing.

I kept my camping back on the floor and opened it to take a gronola bar."so ......what do we do for fun?"i asked as the who place became dull.

"Maybe ,we can go for a hike."my mom suggested

"Nah,im not in the mood ,i just want to watch a movie on my ipad."i said to my mom before i got up from where i sat.

I brought out the tent, and started to attach it together, piece by piece.at first it fell like two times ,but i still tryed put it up.

I grabbed my phone and went into the tent,i turned it on and put my head phones on
So i wouldn't hear any noise from outside.

Kasey's p.o.v.

Kyra had gone to watch a movie inside the tent or whatever she's doing in there,i brought out some foil and an antenna i brought knowing that there wouldn't be any serbice or signal.

I started carving the foil onto the antenna ,so we might get some signal. The whole idea of this trip was my dads plan ,but where was he ?.....not here, he was at work.

Kyra and i didn't want go ,we refused at first but there was this university we wanted to go to ,which was far from our home. He said he'll give us the house my mom had promised us before she had passed away.

Oh yeah,the woman we were calling our mom was our step-mom ,our dad told us to call her mom.

At first ,we didn't accept her.Kyra would cry in her room,she was shit ,but eventually, 2 weeks after her berial ,she talks to us and we accepted her.

I put the wire from the antena and into my phone.after,i received some service and then remembered i didn't want to do anything with it.

"Kasey,Im going for a walk.i'll be back soon."my mom said and headed out .

"Ok,mom."

She walked in to the thick trees of this forest.

I hanged the antena onto the tree ,just incase Kyra and my mom wanted to use it ,i walked to the tent and unzipped it.since my step mom had gone somewhere,i decided to and watch the movie with Kyra.

I entered the tent,"hey Kyra,can i watch......whatever your watching?"

"Sure."she reluctantly said to me

I layed down next to her as she carried the tablet in her hand.she scooched over as I sat down beside her.

"What the hell ,is this?"I asked due to the movie she was watching.

Its twilight."she said flashing me toothy smile.

I gave a groan and then continued watching the movie ,it was so.....

"Where's mom?"she asked while having her eyes glued to the screen.

"Oh ,she went some where, she wanted to go and check some thing."i had forgotten where she said she's going to ,but who cares ,she'll soon be back.

We continued watching the movie till it finished. We heard a stone fall ,we went outside to check who it was,i was on stelth mode .i leapt out and saw.......

Kasey had leaped out to check who it was ,after he jumped ,i didn't hear anything so i decided to check ,the though of bad things happening to him sent shivers down my spine .

I slowly opened the tent and what i saw amazed me.it was my mom ,my dad and Krystal.

I had my mouth open in disbielif .
