Always putting a smile on her face. Trying to look for the good in life. Always trying to be happy for her friends. No one knew she was depressed. So no one tried to help her get out of depression.
Last year, she met her best friend Alexander or Alex for short. They were pretty much always hanging out with each other every second they could spare. Always were with each other at football games and the stupid middle school dances, life couldn't get better, until Alex had to go to high school. Since she was a year younger, she still had to go through 8th grade. This year was hands down the worst year of her life. She hardly got to see Alex anymore, which sucks. Ever since she figured out she developed feeling for him, made the separation worse. Trying to survive school without Alex was near impossible. She missed Alex's laughter, clumsiness, horrible jokes, hugs, piggy-back rides, but most of all, she missed him trying to make her feel special. He always tried to make her feel special by only calling her buddy and pointing out her unique qualities. He always knew how to make her feel better. He never failed to amuse her. He never failed her. Period.
She was only happy when she saw Alex, watching: danisnotonfire, eddsworld , and amazingphil on youtube, or reading. Anything to make the pain of knowing Alex can't be there go away. When she confessed to Alex that she liked him, he said that he thought of dating her, but thought of her more as a sister. She kind of expected it. She was sad that she didn't make him happy like he did for her, but you can't just make someone like you.
