Sixteen years later...
'So you mean this is what?', he grimaced pointing at a disgusting looking cub squatting at Rex's leg.
Rex rolled his eyes knowing how dramatic Roy could be. 'It's a Lion's cub, stupid. And a gift from me to you', he said placing his hands on Roy's shoulder, looking in his face and trying to make a sweet face.
Roy shrugged him off and started walking into the forest they were initially standing before, 'You know that's not going to work on me'.
Rolling his eyes one more time, Rex jogged towards him with the cub running after and together they kept up pace with Roy.
You could hear clearly the crushing of dead dry twigs as they stepped into the bush. They had to occasionally take out sticking branches of trees that barricaded the entrance of the forest.
'It doesn't look very nice now but you would see how nice it would look when it's fed just a little more', he whined.
The forest was dead silent. It was as though birds and even the crickets had gone extinct. Only the noise of their intrusion plunged the whole forest.
'Well then, bring it to me again then. I'll reconsider', he replied curtly.
'As if', Rex grumbled quietly, an ugly scowl etched on his face.
Roy stopped abruptly, taking Rex by surprise.
'Don't you think the forest is too silent?', he asked thoughtfully.
Rex was about to respond when suddenly, a yelp illuminated the whole of the forest from a really huge distance.
Roy's instincts started to cry, his blue eyes turning midnight; his powers began to work on it's own and he soon forgot he wasn't alone as he made for the site of the noise in the sprint of a second.
A minute later, Rex appeared.
'woah, woah. Chill bro. It's not like you're chasing after a run away lover', he humored, chuckling at the speed Roy arrived at.
Roy wasn't listening at all. His immortality worked on it's own, concentrated on finding that voice.
Rex quickly took note of the change and kept a distance from him knowing how ghastly he could get in that form.
He hadn't found her yet and his spirit growled angrily. He stared hungrily at the area, scanning the whole forest in a glimpse.
'Haha, there you are...', he mused.
Without warning, he disappeared off to where the noise was from.
Rex quietly followed out of curiosity trying to maintain Roy's inhumane speed. He had no idea what Roy had on his mind but he could dare sense it was the start of a lot... trouble or even more trouble.

ROY'S POV
I could not understand what went on, just that i was suddenly forcefully caged in the corners of my dark dusty mind and my immortal spirit surfaced.
There was another being, powerful, nobel maybe. Only Yoda's immediate sons and their descendants could wield this much power. I growled inwardly in challenge - nobility speaking. I'm a first born, Yoda's first born! Who wields power enough to challenge me? My eyes flared midnight and I could feel the arrogance of my spirit grow strong.
