What if, Bakugo kept OFA?

The fight with Nine, it was a extremely tough one.

Holding him back with assaults after assaults from each of the student's wasn't a easy job. Most failed in the attempt, barely managing to slow him down.

But in the end, only two were able to stop him for good.

Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya.

In a helpless moment, Izuku had given Bakugo OFA to gain the edge in the battle. Well aware that he would never be able to reach his dream of becoming a hero.

With double OFA, they fought off Nine with amazing strengths, breaking their bodies in the process. With the final call for his last smash, Izuku fell to the ground with Bakugo along side him.

Pain was all he could feel as he had begun regaining a slight amount of consciousness. Izuku began to slowly open his eye's to see a figure he knows all too well.

"..All....Might...?" He said getting the attention of the hero.

"Midoriya my boy. You're finally waking up I see. That's very good." All Might said as he leaned over to Izuku.

"...Kacchan... Where's... Kacchan..?" Izuku said, trying to get the words out.

"Calm down, he's right here. He should be alright once we get him to recovery gi-"

"All Might..." Izuku said, cutting off the hero.

"I... I gave him... Gave him one for all..." He said causing shock from the pro hero.

"You what!?" He called.

"It... It was the only way to win... I had to do it... To save everyone..." He said as he begun to tear up in All Might's arms.

"I'm... I'm sorry, All Might.... I failed you... You chose me and I... I failed you as your successor..." Izuku said as he begun to form more tears. Finally, the exhaustion hitting him, he had lost consciousness.

All Might held the boy once more as he spoke, even though he wouldn't hear him.

"No. You haven't failed me, not for a single moment. You were the best choice for carrying One For All, and I still believe that. Young Midoriya, you are a true hero, with or without a quirk my boy." All Might said as he gently placed Izuku's head on the overcoat he had placed down for him.

Breathing in, then right back out, All Might looked over towards Bakugo. Grabbing his hand with one, along with Izuku's in his other, he lifted them up slightly.

"You both are real hero's, never forget that." All Might said a final time before other pros had shown up.

Doctors came putting the boys on a stretcher to carry them to a place to recover. All Might followed the doctors with this thought in his mind.

'Young Bakugo has became the 10th holder for One For All. This... Is looking to become a difficult task.' He thought as he continued to follow the group.

"The hell is this!?" Bakugo yelled out as he looked at his broken arms.

"Hehe... You might want to start getting used to that." Izuku said as he sat at one of the couches off to the side.

"Tch..." Bakugo said as he walked over to a chair, getting healed by Recovery Girl.

"You two boys really are reckless, you know. If it wasn't for Midoriya handing One For All to you, you would be dead." She said as she gave him a kiss on the cheek, healing him.

"Damn old hag!" Bakugo said clinching his teeth in anger from the kiss.

But just as fast, his arms had begun to heal. After they had gotten done healing, Recovery Girl took a wod of bandages and wrapped it around his arms.

"I have more people to attend to, so I'll leave you two be to get rest. And I would assume you two would have something to talk about." She said before walking over to the door, leaving the room.

Now all who was in the room was just Izuku and Bakugo.

It was silent for awhile, neither of the boys speaking. Finally, one spoke up.

"...So, this is what it feels like to actually lose a dream? I've worked so hard to get to where I am, and it's gone now. I've gotta say, it hurts just as much as I expected it to be." Izuku spoke getting the attention of Bakugo.

"Meeting All Might was one of the best things that ever happened to me. He gave me a chance to fight and become a hero, but I guess that's all gone now. I'm back to my old quirkless self, right Kacchan?" Izuku said as he gave a weak smile towards him.

Bakugo looked at him for a moment, looking at his face. It was clearly obvious he was destroyed. For as long as Bakugo had known him, he knows what it looks like when he's let go of hope.

Finally, Bakugo let out a sigh.

"Your babbling is annoying." He said.

"Yeah, thought so." Izuku said back as he looked down at his lap.

"So that's it? You're finally just gonna give up after all that? And I thought you were stubborn." Bakugo said as Izuku looked up at him confused.

"Huh?"

"This is what it takes for you to give up on your dream? Pathetic." Bakugo said then looking at him.

Just before Izuku could retort against him, Bakugo cut him off.

"Listen Nerd, if you think just cause you don't have a quirk anymore means you're not a hero anymore? Then you really are stupid.

If not you becoming a pro, then I'll do it for you. Now that I've got One For All, that means mt success is yours as well. So stop crying about it like a damn baby." Bakugo told him.

Izuku only sat there looking at him. Nothing more then that. Until it hit him hard. Tears slowly started to fill his eye's as he begun to break down.

"Oi! I thought I said stop crying damnit!?" Bakugo roared out causing Izuku to laugh.

"No, it's not like that Kacchan! Haha! I'm just, really happy all of a sudden. So don't worry." Izuku said wiping away his tears.

"Well anything's better then you whinnying like a baby." Bakugo scoffed as he was beginning to walk out of the room.

"Kacchan." Izuku called out to him.

"What is it?" He said back.

"...Nevermind, it's nothing. You should get some rest though." Izuku said to him.

"Look who's talking." Bakugo said before walking out of the room.

Change is always hard, especially when it's from something great. But it always helps when a friend is there by your side.
