The happier version of In another life
Akaashi thought to himself when he was playing volleyball he remembered about high school,how nostalgic he said to himself.It had been years since he saw anyone from Fukurodani Academy especially from his old team the Fukurodani owls.
He thought back to himself wondering will he ever see anyone from there again? What if I do and I don't notice?
But this time out loud he did want to meet them again,but he knew it was nearly impossible.Out of these billions of people how would he find members from the team or the school?
He couldn't.
He had moved far away from the school four years ago.He lived on his own with his dog Aspen.Living away from his friends and family he was lonely.
Months later
Akaashi realized that he could try to find contact with his team members and perhaps his family too.
He searched on his laptop "Easiest ways to find contact with your old friends which you haven't seen for a long time."
Not many results were found but there were a few.Even though Akaashi knew that his team captain Bokuto still lived near the high school
it's possible that he had changed his phone number or his cellphone.
Akaashi closed his laptop and laid down on his bed and thought
"What if I stumble into Bokuto someday...?"
Would it ever happen? Probably not, he said out loud.
He was walking to the library on one sunny day,08,21,2048 he bumped into someone.He looked up and said "I'm sorry." the man replied with "It's alright!" In a cheerful voice like nothing happened.
Was he pretending to not realize he surely was, he repeated in his head.
The man looked familiar with distinct golden eyes,gray and black hair,then he realized that they were just standing there without saying anything and not realizing at first.
Akaashi asked if he could go as he had to pick up some books from the library.The man said "Could you wait a moment? Really fast"
Akaashi with his thoughtful mind said in a kind voice "Of course what's wrong?" The man said "Could I have your name?" Akaashi thought why was he asking for his name? '' Although he didn't want to, he wanted to give empathy so therefore he said "I'm Akaashi".
The man replied with,I'm Bokuto!
Yet again in a very cheerful voice.
They walked away from each other and then was when Akaashi realized Bokuto sounded familiar, almost like he knew someone named Bokuto.
In fact,he did Bokuto Kotaro, former team captain of the Fukurodani Owls.
Was it actually him? He wondered...why would he be walking near the local library?Bokuto never liked to read, he'd rather play volleyball or something more active,way more active.
A few weeks later Akaashi went to the same library and there he was Bokuto in the volleyball section.Looking at a few books while holding some books in his hands too "Hey Akaashi!" Bokuto turned and said
"Hello Bokuto" Akaashi said slowly, not sounding too happy.
Bokuto proceeded to ask for Akaashi's number repeatedly until annoying Akaashi so much that he gave him his phone number.
