Christina's POV

I wake up as soon as I sit up I wince in pain but last night was the best nights I've ever had I look down to a sleeping mate I push a lock of hair behind my ear bending down and kiss his cheek his mouth lifts in a slight smile I get up and take my towel my body aches bellow but I welcome it. Once I get in I turn on the jet shower and begin wetting my hair.

Jess is screaming for him to leave but he's trying to calm her his hands low in surrender. I run and get in between them. "MARK STOP, I warned you, you get any closer you'll destroy any hope you have now just stop." I order him with a stern but sympathetic face. He sighs sadness and longing in his eyes. I turn to a crying Jess who's next to the window with her back to us. "Jess it's going to be alright I know he might seem intimidating but Mark's a nice guy I'm not trying to set you up. After lunch we both go back to Jess's room Lance keeps me behind him incase Mark looses control again. Mark hasn't moved from when we left he's still kneeling at the window. Jess I know you can hear me. I may not understand how you feel but I do know you feel like there's nothing left for you, but that's not the case you have an entire pack willing to help you, you have a mate that would do anything for your happiness. I'm always here please Jess come back to us wherever you are your safe with us. I end my mind-link I know she heard every word I said I hope she comes back soon I miss her. Lance wipes away my tears and sits me on his lap on the bed rocking me into his body. As my mind begins to calm I spot Mark watching us with a pained look. I suddenly push away from Lance as I realise where she is. "Mark follow me NOW I know where she is." I leave the room, run outside I turn to face Mark. "I need you to get on my back when I shift." "But baby you can't leave" I look at my mate's scared face "I'm coming right back baby I promise but we also need our Beta female." I caress Lances cheek and kiss him. I shift my wings held high as Mark carefully gets on gripping my mane tightly.
She never left our realm, she's right we're I found her when I brought her to our pack I see her crying and Whinny to her she looks up and shifts trying to fly away but I block her path. Enough I get your in pain but enough running, are you not Jess Loars. I shook my head and reared at her no ones giving up on you. Not me, and definitely not Mark. I know what he did to you but whatever's left of your heart let Mark have a chance with it. If he hurts you I will never stop you from doing what you want. I hear her sigh through our link she nods her head "fine but he's going to need so much patience and I'm not sleeping in his room." I smile inwardly and release her from my shield we both fly back to the Palace Mark leans all the way back gripping my mane tightly on our decent.

Once we're back I shift back Mark dismounts my back as I shift back my mate instantly spins me around I giggle and squeal a little in shock he pulls back his hand at the base of my neck and gently pulls me into a fierce all consuming tongue battled kiss. I fight not to moan and pull back when I need air. "You're never leaving me again love." I smile softly "never again hunny." He grabs my waist and I see Jess with a curious look. "I'll give you a chance but I'm not sleeping with you I will stay in my own room Mark." He nods his head furiously as his hand tosses his hair nervously "can I hug you Jess?" I watch and inwardly scream 'AWWW'. She's thoughtful before she slowly agrees nodding her head. We leave them to it, I stop and turn when I hear Jess shout my name. I smiled tiredly "I have no idea what your talking about you've always been awesome and I'm glad your giving Mark a chance I'll see you tomorrow and Mark." He looks up at me his right eye raises in question "you screw this up your on your own, I'll hunt you down if your harm her, bye" I excitedly say in the end leaving hand in hand with my Lance.
