I awaken in the woods once more, slightly covered in dirt and quickly stand. The dreams have become more frequent. Which isn't good. I don't even know where I'm at. This time though I prepared myself. I am clothed in my warmest dress and cloak with all my belongings in a pack on my back. I look around and cast a simple spell to track the quickest way to civilization.

I pass by a swamp and suddenly something explodes out of it. I scream in shock and see a white haired man fighting a kikimora. It shoots a claw at me and I throw my hands up using my magic to stop it. I scramble to a safer distance as my heart races.I watch from behind one of the dead trees as the man takes care of the monster and kills the injured deer.

I try to walk away but he says in a deep gravelly voice,"You don't look like you belong out here."

I stop and say,"Sir, I don't want any trouble."

He says,"Come here."

I look over and see him sitting around a small fire that the meat is cooking over. He motions to the empty space beside him and I notice he's bleeding. I go to him and place my hand over his wound. He catches my hand and our eyes connect as shockwaves flow through us.

I stutter,"I-I was just going to heal your wound."

He looks at me curious in his gaze.

I say,"This would be easier if I we were at my place."

He looks at me and I say,"I can portal us to my place and back here before you'd even realize it."

He grunts in response and I hold out my right hand. He takes it and looks at his horse who neighs in response.

He says,"I'll be back Roach."

The horse buffs and I open a portal. I walk through with the man behind me.

I raise my free hand the candles lighting up in my home. I close the portal and turn to the man.

I say,"I will draw you a bath. I will heal any wounds you have when there's no dirt in your wounds."

I head to the wash room and draw a bath. It's a giant bath tub and I feel something outside. I quickly straighten and walk out of the wash room. I stride past the man and he catches my arm.

He says,"Don't go out there."

I say,"Someone is trespassing. On MY property. I will take care of it."

I open the door with a wave of my hand and head out. I flick my wrist and it closes behind me. I look around the snow covered area of my property. I see figures coming out of trees and I wave my hands as I take a deep breath. An arrow lodges into the post next to me and I glare at the people. I slam the sides of my fists together making my clothes change into pants and a short sleeve loose tunic top with boots.

I take off running as I conjure a fireball. I throw it at the intruder on the left and they go up in flames. I roll under a swinging blade and turn. Slamming my hand onto the ground, vines rise up quickly wrapping around the intruder.

I see a glint of silver as the last intruder swings their blade towards me. My eyes go wide and a clang echoes as snow falls as another blade comes out of nowhere and collides with the intruder's sword. I look to see the man is there and the intruder flares at him.

He spits,"ABOMINATION!!"

The intruder brings up his sword and I give a yell of anger and use the shadows to my advantage. I call them to me and they begin to crawl up the man like black chains and scars show up on his skin. He wails in agony and I see the white haired man look at me in shock. The intruder takes the opportunity to slash at me. His blade slices my collarbone causing me to bleed. I grip my collarbone and the white haired man sees the shadows disappearing and takes his sword and shoves it into the man's chest. I snap my fingers and the bodies disappear.
