I could feel my hair stick to my neck, and my cheeks Begin to flush from the hotness, and to my luck the air conditioner broke down and Aunt Edda still wouldn't fix it. My hair was long and straight to my waist, a Hazel blonde and right now I wanted to cut my hair as short as possible but only ended up picking up half a pony tail, my denim shorts were as short as they could be, and sadly I didn't mind, it was too hot and aunt Edda would hang my head if I decided to go with my birthday suite.

I sat on the steel stool, as uncomfortable as it sounds and dangled my leg forwards and backwards, staring at a embodied journal while I slowly began to bite the cap of my pen, I groaned bored no one ever came to this shop not often though.

After a while the door opened ringing the small bell on top of it, I ignored the person and began doodling until he cleared his throat

"Well hello there love, would you mind ringing me up" he asked, A slight american accent coming out compared to my small southern one

"Huh, it's just a monster, one ninety nine" I murmured, he handed me the money and I nodded

"What are you doing?" He asked opening his monster and taking a huge gulp

"Ain't got the good sense God gave a rock, well what does it look like I'm here working jolly and hard" I said my southern accent coming out, saying the word jolly sarcastically

He chuckled and he looked intrigued biting his lip

"What's your name sugar?" He asked leaning in the counter, a cigarette dangling in between his lips, I took this opportunity to glance at him and notice his forest green eyes that and his hair pulled back in a bun, with a bandana.

"Why should I tell you, for all I know you can be a ax murder or something" I said sitting up straighter, the guy looked at the ground smiled and let out a small deep chuckle

"Because there is always that possibility huh? Now tell me your name, full one actually" he said looking at me with a small smile playing on his lips, I huffed tried to look somewhere that wasn't him but lord was it impossible

"Lidewij, Lidewij Novak" I murmured, he nodded and stretched out his hand towards me to shake it and reluctantly I placed my much smaller one on his

"I'm Harry Styles at your service" he charmingly said with a wink

"Are you trying to seduce me or something, that ain't working darlin'"

He almost laughed but covered his mouth with his hand that was covered with numerous rings

"Are you lesbian?" He asked out of nowhere, I looked at him with an 'are you serious' face and continue to look at him "not that I'm against them"

"No I'm not lesbian, why would you think that!" I exclaimed

"Because....your not swooning over me and I'm quite the eye catcher" he smugly replied and I felt like grabbing a pair of scissors and slicing his throat

"Oh i am so sorry your majesty, actually im not, I popped your ego?"

He looked at me with a grin and he crossed his arms on the counter, somehow the cigarette still hanging in between his teeth

"I'll take that as a yes" I murmured

"So Lidewij, you have a rare name over here in Arkansas, is that like German?" He asked intrigued as he leaned his head sideways

"Dutch actually, momma always had a thing for names like mine" I said

"Where's your mom?" He asked looking around the gasoline store and them at me
