"I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream," I sing a part of the lyrics of Once Upon A Dream.

I'm playing Aurora in the Sleeping Beauty Musical by the University of Arts of London. And yes, I am here in this huge college theatre hall with hundreds of people watching me. So many pairs of eyes focused on me singing up on this stage.

Kinda confused why do they cast me as Aurora? Me? A brunette with brown eyes and 5'5. Such an opposite of her.

"I know you, the gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
Yet I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem" I continue to sing as I hold a stuffed owl and surrounded by artificial grass and trees.

"But if I know you, I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream..."  After singing this part of the song, I freeze on stage and the spotlight moves to Prince Philip, played by one of my good friends, Niall Horan.

"Would you look at that, Samson, a pretty girl singing in the middle of the woods," He said his line, talking to a student that played as his horse on his right side.

As he's talking, I'm still frozen and take a glance through the audience, searching for my best friend and my family. And there he is, Harry Styles, sitting in the middle of the whole audience, smiling at me. I'm so confused over the fact that he's still focusing on me when everyone is focusing on Niall that's currently talking. I chuckle and secretly wave at him. He waves back, still smiling.

"May as well join her.." Niall continues his line that's also my queue. I break eye contact with Harry and look at Niall and begin our duet.

"I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream
I know you, the gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam."  We're singing enthusiastically along with the dance moves that we practiced for weeks.

"And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem
But if I know you, I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream..." The song comes to an end with my body bending 90 degrees, my back held back in Niall's arms. Our eyes meet and we freeze waiting for the lights to go off and exiting backstage. The applause is so loud coming from the audience, cheering for me and Niall.

"Hey, our first scene together today, great job, G." Niall congratulate me from our first scene together. He's the only one who calls me G. G as in Genevieve, of course.

"Thanks, Ni, you did a great job too." I pull him to a hug. After 5 seconds, we let go of each other because we have a really tight schedule.

I run to the other side of the stage to enter the next scene and Niall runs to his dressing room to change for this next scene.

"Okay, Aurora, you go in 5, 4, 3," the stage manager counts down, "2, 1.. go!"

I walk towards the center of the stage that now looks like I'm in a cottage and meet another 3 actors who are my fairy godmothers.

"Hi, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, I'm home!!" I smile as I say my line.

It's been a whole hour and this play has not ended... I'm so tired. I literally don't like musicals and plays that much but Summer was so excited when she got the role of playing Aurora in Sleeping Beauty so I forced myself to go. My mum, my stepdad, my sister, and her fiancée also wanted to go see Summer.
