It's been 5 days since I lied to my own mother about Summer being my wedding date...

Nope, I haven't told Summer yet.

I'm still thinking about how should I ask her.  What if she flips and does not want to go with me? What would I say to my mum? The worst thing is that if Summer turns me down, I will have to force myself to hang out with Elena.

I can do this. Summer will definitely understand. She's my best friend.

"Harry!" Louis shouts at me.

"Huh?" I wake up from my deep thoughts.

"Aren't you listening?" He says with his strong Doncaster accent, "Me, Niall, and Liam wants to sneak to Liam's parent's alcohol vault and drink some this Friday night, do you want to join?" Louis asks me. Louis and Liam are sitting in front of me, Niall sitting beside me on my left. They are all looking at me, waiting for my answer. We're at lunch in a diner that's 5 minutes away from campus. This is one of our favorite places to hang out.

"Are you crazy?" I double-check. No answer, "but, yeah, sure."

Liam chuckles, "Good, what were you thinking about anyway?"

I let out a big sigh, "My sister, she's having her wedding in Italy later in June and my annoying ass friend will be there. She asks me to be her wedding date."

They all nod, sounds like a normal thing to hear.

"But, my mum said I already have a date," I continue, "My 'date' is Genevieve. And I said yes because I don't want to be Elena's date. So, I lied that Summer and I are a thing."

The silence between us. My face looking like I just saw a murder. Their faces are still the same, like hearing a normal thing.

"...And...?" Niall waiting for the surprising part of the story.

"That's it! I'm being Summer's wedding date!"

"Who's Summer?" Liam asks.

"Genevieve!" I raise my voice.

"Oh..." His lips parted, he looks like he finally gets it, "Well, that's not so hard, Harry. She's literally an acting student at The University of Arts of London. She probably knows how to lie so well, your family will never suspect that you two are a fake couple."

"He's got a point, Harry." Louis jumps into the conversation, agreeing with Liam, "Besides, you two looked like a real couple right now. If you didn't say that you two are childhood best friends, I would assume you two fucked."

"Lou!" I shout in disgust, trying to stop him from going further. Three of them laugh. Niall laughs the hardest. I roll my eyes, "First of all, we are not dating. Second, can't believe I'm admitting this but you're right." I say to Liam and Louis.

Liam grins, "so, what did she say? About all of this?" He asks.

"I didn't ask her yet," I admit.

"What? Are you being serious?" Niall blames me, "what if she flips at you?"

"That's what I thought." Thoughts circling my head again. My head falls to my empty hands.

"It's okay, just... Tell her today." Louis tries to calm me down.

I nod, my head still on my hands.

Summer Carter

Yesterday was one of the most stressful days of my life.

It was an audition for our next play, Romeo and Juliet. I was auditioning for, obviously, Juliet. Yes, it is a very cliché play but I just need to get parts for almost every plays and show because it will help me in the future. For my resume and stuff. The more I act, the more chances I'll become a great actress. Maybe someday I'll win an Emmy. Already practiced my speech since 8th grade.

I'm currently in theatre studies. Most boring class I've ever been in. Physically I'm here, listening to Mr. Walters teaching not-so-basic theatre history. Emotionally... panicking, honestly. After this class, Mrs. Evans will announce callbacks for Romeo and Juliet.

90 whole minutes passed, the bell finally rings.

"Okay, your history essay is due next week! Thank you, have a nice day." Mr. Walters greets goodbye and directly exits the college classroom.

I immediately exit the classroom too and walks to the announcement board in front of the college's main auditorium.

Mrs. Evans looks like she already put up the cast member list paper because I see her walking away from the announcement board. There are already some students waiting and directly move towards the board to see the piece of paper pinned on the board. I'm literally late to the announcement.

"OMG! I got the part!" Stacy screams. She's an American student, probably Mrs. Evans's favorite student. She's an amazing actress, I admit. So, it's great that she got the part.

I smile a little to show appreciation for her when we meet eyes. I continue to walk towards the board and read the cast member list.

Great, I'm an understudy.

Disappointing, to be very honest.

Well, it's okay though. I need a break after the last play. I leave the announcement board approaching the main gate of the campus.

"Summer!" Harry shouts my name from behind me. Don't have to look back and confirm that's Harry because he's the only person that calls me Summer. Sounds like he's catching up with me by running by the echo of his steps that are coming closer and closer.

He finally reaches me and walks with me to my left. "Hi." He greets.

"Hey," I say back, "why are you running?"

"It's important."

I stop walking and face my body to him, "What? Important? You never say anything important to me before." I chuckle.

He laughs a bit and shakes his head changing to a more serious look. "No, I really need to ask you something." He looks me in the eye.

"Go on..."

"I need you to be my fake girlfriend and be my wedding date for my sister's wedding."

I widen my eyes. Wow, it is important. "For what?"

"Long story, but, Elena is coming and I need you to be my wedding date and my fake girlfriend so she won't flirt with me the entire trip. My mum also sorta told her that we're dating." He explains quickly, still not breaking eye contact with me. "Please..." He begs.

"Hold on, did you say trip? Where are we going?"

"Italy."

"What!" I look at him unbelievably, "are you dead serious? I'm so excited! Of course, I'll be your fake girlfriend slash wedding date!"

He looks at me unbelievably too and hugs me tight, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!" He squeals like a four-year-old girl getting a new barbie doll, "you're the best, do you know that?"

"Yes, Harry, I know." I laugh, releasing from his tight hug, "I really like to help you since I dislike Elena almost as much as you do." We continue to walk to the college gates to exit.

Elena and I met a couple of times and yes, she's annoying. She loves to complain about her champagne problems. Like waaay too much.

He smiles at me, "thanks."

"No problem," I smile back, "what are doing tonight? I just saw the cast list for the next show and I didn't get in. I need company." I complain.

"I have nothing to do, probably gonna do some homework."

"Great! Can I come over tonight?"

"Sure. I'll buy some food."

"Thank you." I squeeze his hand as we walk out of the campus and separate our ways.
