The Same Day

Navya: Nandu, hum bata rahe hai tumhe isne yeh sab jaanbhujkar kiya hai!

Jaanbhujkar- Deliberately

Navya fumed in extreme anger as she stood there with her arms crossed against her chest. She muttered few more curses under her breathe and from the corner of her eye she could see Cabir standing shocked while Nandini was rubbing her forehead in disbelief.

It was evening now. In the morning, after the disastrous breakfast cooked by the men which included burnt roti's, bland curry and the over cooked extra spicy rice, they all went to the beach and enjoyed there.

They roamed around, had fun, clicked pictures and came back home late in the evening.

At present, Nandini was looking for Manik who had again very successfully  disappeared from her sight.

She was passing through the corridor and heard Navya and Cabir fighting. Thus, from the past twenty minutes, Mrs.Nandini Manik Malhotra was trying to solve the fight between her two bestfriends who were in no mood to end it. It all started with Cabir getting Navya a ring way too smaller than her size.

Cabir: Navya, Par mai aisa kyu karunga? Mujhe marne ka shaunk thori hai.

Though he had murmured the last line to himself, Nandini heard him. He looked at her and as she gave him a stern stare, he he looked back apologetically making her sigh in disbelief.

Nandini: Cabir-

Cabir: Bhabhi, I swear I didn't do this deliberately. It was a mistake. I gave right size to the jeweller. I swear it is all his fault.

He immediately cleared his side not at all wanting to get scoldings from Nandini.

Navya: How do I know you aren't lying, Cabir! I just know it is your fault. Nandu, see look at him! He isn't even sorry!

Nandini: Navu- but why would he do this?

She defended Cabir who looked at Navya nodding his head as if Nandini had given a million dollar advice and she should follow it.

However, her bestfriend taking her husband's side, didn't settle with Navya well. She looked at both Nandini and Cabir wide eyed as the two exchanged understanding smiles.

Navya: Nandu! You are my bestfriend. You should be on my side.

She whined and Nandini remembered Manik who would crib for her attention the same way. If it would've been him on Navya's place right now, he wouldn't have said she should take his side, instead he would've declared she can't take anyone else's side.

She chuckled and at the same time felt Navya pulling her hand to drag her to her side while Cabir held her another hand starting a mini war.

Navya: Nandu, I am your bestfriend. You are on my side.

Cabir: Excuse me? Who do you think I am? She is my Bhabhi so she is gonna take my side.

Navya: Cabir, Your bhabhi is my bestfriend before she became your bhabhi. So I have more right on her.
