Maddies POV :
I'm standing in the doorway and Mackenzie has the most grateful look I have ever seen on her face. I make sure no one is around, and I go to untie my sister.
First, I give her a hug and I kiss her, and I tell her how much I love her. I look through my purse and I find the pocket knife.
I start to cut through the thick rope. Finally, it comes loose. Mackenzie gets up, hugs me, and we run out of the door.
Only one thing is stopping us.. The man is standing less than 20 feet away from us.. We run for our lives.
As we are running, we both start to get tired but we don't give up. We keep running, and sooner or later we lose him. We are about 2 miles away from home.
I see a car on the road and I wave my hands like there's no tomorrow. The car stops and I tell them what happened in the short version of course.
I jump in the car with Mackenzie right behind me, and we drive off. I can not believe that this actually happened to us.
