Welcoming to the entity

Down in Wingston, girl y/n would be attending classes for 5 days a week. Almost finishing the school year made everyone pumped up, and all of y/n's classmates were talking about break, a time where everyone could get a break from pain and headaches. Everyone pumped for the beautiful beach days, and for late night walks with friends, well everyone but y/n.

Despite y/n being very smart and quite a nice looking girl, she didn't really care about breaks, since she would always be doing something anyways. Y/n loved doing things like walking down to the exquisite, unique woods and taking nice strolls through the naturally-made paths the woods made just for her. She felt happiest alone walking around the woods she always called her "safe place" since her home wasn't very friendly towards her..
So, y/n decided to go for a walk in the woods, hoping to spare some time before having to head back to her home, how much she hated that place. It was like Hell on Earth. After y/n's father passed away due to heart failure, her mom wasn't as happy as she used to be, in fact she wasn't happy at all.

y/n thought to herself as she sat down on the roots of a old tree, "why, why me?"
While y/n was too busy having these lucid thoughts, she didn't even notice the strange, black fog starting to appear to her.
While snapping back to reality, y/n noticed the fog, and before she could react, all she saw was pitch black.

As y/n's eyes started to slowly wake up, she heard close chatting near her.
"is she awake?" a female with a soothing, rather calm voice spoke
"I think so darlin', her eyes don't seem to be fully asleep anymore." Another girl, but instead she had kind of like a southern accent, was speaking to the other female.
You decided to open your eyes to see what was going on, and to your surprise, a group of people were surrounding you, wondering if you were awake or not.
You shot yourself up, surprising the group of people around you.
"what is happening? who are you guys? what am i doing here, or better yet what even if this place?!"
"woah there, calm down and let us explain where you are and what is happening." You looked over at who was talking, it was an older man, he had a lot of wounds on his body and his hair was all white.
"listen, and listen carefully. Everyone here got chosen by the entity. The entity is the thing that brought you here, we our survivors. Survivors survive from the killers. 4 survivors are randomly chosen by the entity to go into a match, along with 1 killer. The killer obviously has to try to kill you, and we have to survive the matches. I know it sounds bad but if you do die, we all spawn back into our tents. Did I leave anything out?"
Clearly he did. You were paralyzed, and still confused.
"So.. it's like cat and mouse?"
exactly like cat and mouse, kid"
What can you do about this? You weren't really scared, or nervous. You felt like God has answers your prayers or taking you out of that awful world of yours. So you were kind of happy about that, but now I have to survive a killer? This is so strange, but you were sure you could get used to it. You were smart, and quite clever, so you very pretty confident about yourself.
"Anyways, new girl! I think we should all introduce ourselves so she at least knows who we are!" The girl with the accent says again.
"i'll start. My names Kate, and I basically play guitar for a living, until I met some fat clown, but you'll just have to see him to know how horribly he is. And over there is Claudette. She is our life savor. She knows some botany stuff and she can heal herself anytime, and us!"
Claudette gave you a small smile, as you smiled back. Kate and Claudette looked very sweet, and you were quite happy to see such positive people like Kate here, she made you giggle at some things she said in her introduction.
"And the guy that told you about this strange place is Bill. He is old and stuff, but actually pretty strong. We never mess with him because he's always grumpy and we know that he'll beat us up.
Bill laughed "I've been a soldier for years, what do you expect?" He said as everyone else near them laughed.
"This girl over here is Feng. She is very quiet which is why you probably didn't know she was here, and she used to be a well known gamer."
Feng Min looked over at you and gave you a hang gesture before walking back to her tent.
"And lastly, there is Meg." Kate said as Meg was too busy to say anything, she was doing her usual work out and didn't even notice the new girl.
"don't mind her, she's an athlete and always brings her health first."
You were very quiet in this new realm, probably because everything was so new to you and you still had to get used to things.
"So darlin', that was just a small introduction with a few people but you'll meet everyone else soon in trials, or just walking around. You should probably go to your tent and get some rest girl, you'll need it for when you get in your first trial! If you need me or anyone else, don't be shy to come get us."
You smiles at the blonde haired southern girl, she was very kind and you knew you would always be comfortable to ask her anything. But she was right, you should go to your tent and at least explore it. You waved off Kate as you walked towards your tent. Most people were in there tents probably sleeping which is why you couldn't see them, but once you knew all of them you knew you would at least find a few buds to stick around with during matches. You were studio trying you wrap your head around the whole "killer" part. But your mind past right by it as you laid on your bed in your tent and started to slowly dose off into a slumber.
