Next Day

The Next Day bob gets a text from turner asking if he wants to visit manny in the hospital even though he's still unconscious. They pick up pat before they go. Turner goes to talk to the doctor, and Bob decides to apologize to Pat for yesterday. Pat says he's fine bc he's scared of bob. Bob asks pat why he thinks manny would cheat on him with flicker of all people. Pat says that he doesn't know, but they got a lot closer to flicker when he and bob started getting into fights. Turner comes back and says that they'll have to pull the plug on him if he doesn't wake up in the next week. Bob starts crying about how he should have been a better husband. Pat and turner try and invite him out to cheer him up. Bob gets a drink with them and tells them about how he feels like he's become his ex-wife, who was mentally abusive and homophobic. Turner and Pat comfort him, but turner leaves early because he has work tomorrow. The chapter ends with bob and Pat ordering another drink.
