"Then Pah decided to stab him near the back!" You nodded, listening to your dear friend Draken talk about this fight with a gang today. He was pacing back and forth in front of you as you sat on the front steps of your place.
"Next thing I know, I can hear the police sirens, and they're getting closer. Pah said he would turn himself in while Mikey was yelling at him to just run away with us. I had to pick the shrimp up and run cause he wouldn't budge on his own."
He goes on with the story of some new kid you've never heard about before who fainted while running behind them. "I called Emma and made sure she took him to the hospital." You cut your eyes at him at the mention of the blonde girl.
"You could've called me.." You mumble under your breath. He rubs the back of his neck as he rambles on with his rant. "Now Mikey is mad at me cause I didn't do anything to help Pah. The fuck could I have done if the motherfucker wanted to turn himself in? I'm not staying to watch him get put in cuffs!"
"So now Toman's over." Your head shoots up, looking at Draken. You honestly didn't realize that you got up until you were up close to him. "Over..what do you mean over?"
He sighs as he looks down at you. "At this point, I can't deal with him."
"I'm tired of taking care of his ass and then him getting upset when I don't follow what he wants. Some members are on his side and don't like me for leaving Pah back there."
You felt sympathy for the taller teen. He had a good heart and always stuck with it. Rubbing his toned left arm, the both of you just stood in silence for a bit. "Stop talking nonsense. You two are literally two peas in a pod, and you know that you need him just as bad as he needs you. You're literally married to him."
He chuckles at your last comment before wrapping you in a hug. "I don't love him like that...I'll think about it. First, I'm gonna go buy a watermelon and see Takemitchi."
You giggle, thinking it was cute of him to visit a friend with a watermelon. Your left eyebrow begins to arch when it hits you. Your family runs one of the best street food venues and serves various watermelon desserts. Naturally, it's only right to have a separate fridge full of watermelon.
"Asshole." You mumble as you pull away from him and walk inside of your house with him following behind, laughing deeply. Once you open the fridge door, he's allowed to pick the one he wants. Drakken carefully examines the melons in front of him as he squats in front of the fridge.
You leave him and the watermelons alone, walking into your living room and taking a seat on your couch. After examing the fruit, you hear him getting up while closing the fridge door. He walks behind the couch as you hold up some rope that helps to hold the large fruit.
He grabs the rope, puts the melon inside it, and sets it down at the entrance. "You better talk to Mikey!" You yell at him while going through the TV channels. You hear your front door open, making you quickly turn towards it, "Promise me!"
"I promise (y/n)." He says as he slides on his shoes and casually walks out.
