Adopted!!!!

I heard a knock at the door so I quickly put on my clothes and answered it. It was Mrs.Lisa. She had a red face as if she was a tomato and began to yell and say hurry up we have an adopter coming. As she left I combed my hair and covered up my bruise and scars .Then I heard someone scream I thought it was Becky or Jen screaming from running out of lipstick but once I walked down stair and saw Demi Lovato. Next Becky approached me and said just go to the back of the line you know she is not going to adopted you anyway. As I got to the back of the line I put on my headphones and turned on smells like team spirt.Then I felt someone tap on my shoulder I turned around and it was Demi Lovato. I tried to acted cool but inside I was screaming like a child just got something from Christmas. She introduced herself and asked me what was my name was  and how old I was.(she is 16)

Demi POV

I walked around looking for someone to adopt but they all seem rude or selfish until I saw a girl with headphones on. I tapped on her shoulder then she turned around. She had brown hair with pink tips and a huge smile on her face. "Hi I'm Demi, what what's your named." I said trying to start a conversation. She didn't talk for a few seconds just staring at me. "Do I have something on my face?" I asked because I started to get uncomfortable. She finally spoke, "no no no it's just... never mind, my name is Alice. " I asked her a few questions like what's her age and what she liked...etc.

Becky POV

Uh why is she talking to her she should be interested in me. I should do something to make Demi not want her. (Sorry if the POV is short😬)

Alice POV

Demi said she'll be back so I'm just waited here until Becky and her friends came. "Hey worthless back off she probably just wants to be nice so she has a good reputation so she can leave and just adopt me, that's why she left." Becky said and started to get  closer, the others started to get closer too. I started to attempt to run but it's to late she grabbed my arm and pulled against the wall. I tried to escape while she is about to slap me. I dodge it. "HEY! leave her alone I heard a voice. Becky dropped me."Oh hey I was just playing around with Alice. Right" she says to Demi and me. "Right I say knowing she'll probably beat me up again if I didn't. Demi look like she didn't believe it but just went with it. "Can I speak to Alice for a moment?"Demi said "sure" becky says smiling at Demi yet giving me a dirty look. Then they all walked away. "Hi Alice I was wonder if you would like me to adopt you." I look at her in disbelief. I try to pinch myself seeing if this was a dream. The pinch hurt my bruises so it's real. I give her a quick answer so she doesn't think I don't want to go with her." YES" I say with a smile. I probably look ridiculous right now. She smiles well I'll go sign the papers and I'll be right back, your can go pack your things. I quickly run up to my room and lock it hoping Becky and her friends don't see me. I was lucky enough to sneak right past them. I pack my things in a small suit case. I don't have a lot of belongings so I quickly get them. All my essentials, guitar, and song book. Then I knew I forgot something. My blade. I don't want Demi to find it so I hide it under all my clothes so you can't see it. I walk out and saw a someone coming towards me.  It wasn't clear. Then it came in sight. Jen. "I've heard your getting adopted" she says. Looking very mad
"But I know their going to leave you like your birth parents did. I feel sad for them to have a worthless person like you in their family. We'll see you in 3 days that's probably when they we'll get sick of you. And you can get 3 more extra beatings." She says while getting up and leaving. I feel a familiar liquid down my checks...tears. They just came pouring down at the memories that were about my birth parents.

(FLASH BACK)

"Get back here worthless." My dad said clearly drunk. I try to run but he is faster than me.He punches me multiple times. Then a metal taste was in my mouth. Blood. I scream but there is no use I just got slapped again. Then black spots were appearing and then be came fully black. Next it was my mom. "Alice come down here!" She yelled at me. It was all the mess my dad made when he came home drunk. "Pack up your things!" She says angrily. I walk up stairs with tears forming I pack my guitar and song book and everything else. Tears dripped all over the bed. I quickly wipe them and go down stairs. " LOOK AT THIS MESS YOU MADE! You don't deserve to live I never loved you and I'll never will you are a disgrace to this family GET OUT OF HERE! As she pushed me out.
(END OF FLASHBACK)

Demi POV

I heard crying from one of the bed rooms so I go to see who it is. Then Becky came right in front of me. "Hi." She says "you really shouldn't go there!"she says really nervously. "Why not?" I ask "because your not allowed to go in there." She says obviously lying. " " okay I'll go check with Mrs. Lisa" I say walking away until I could see she wasn't in the way. I quickly sprint towards the bed room. Almost tripping. Then I saw Alice in bed with tear running down her face.

Alice POV

I heard a voice I look up. It's Demi. "Are you okay?" She says while giving me a tissue. "Yeah, I'll just miss this place." I says putting on my best fake smile. She obviously didn't believe me. "well if you need any one to talk to I'm right here . Now let's go to my house." She says. We get up and go. We reach the front door and Mrs. Lisa stopped us. " are sure you want to adopt her she says rudely. Demi replied " Of course I want to." Clearly getting angry. "Well if you want to send her back just drop her off here." She says "I highly doubt that." Demi says and we leave to go into the car.🔚
