~~~~ Oikawa's POV ~~~~
We were all surprised to see some white rolled up paper with ash inside lying on the floor of the forest. "What's that-" Hanamakki questioned as he walked over. "No clue- don't ask me" Mattsun replied as he walked over. "Be carful, we don't know what it is" Iwaizumi said as he crossed his arms. "What harm could it do?" I asked as I walked over.
I poked it around a bit with my sword and chuckled from the fact it's man made. "We could use this for intake" Mattsun said. "All of you shut up" Iwaizumi harshly demanded as he walked over. He stared at the thing not wanting to touch it.
"People call these cigarettes" I told them. They looked over at me. "Did you just make up the name? Or were too lazy to tell us until now" Iwaizumi asked as he gripped onto his arms. "Second one" I said as I poked the thing around more. "Stop touching it!" Hanamakki begged as he pushed me away from the cigarette. "It's not gonna hurt us! It's soaked in water" I told him as I ruffled his hair.
"What ever you say" Iwaizumi harshly told me as he walked to the other side of the forest. "I'm gonna go do my job- so if you dimwits are actually willing to do your jobs, hurry up" he yelled as he walked away. "Hold onnn!!" Hanamakki yelled as he ran over. "Don't leave us hanging!" Mattsun said second as he ran over. Iwaizumi looked over his shoulder to look at me.
I hummed and kicked the cigarette to god knows where and ran over to them.
Little did I know the cigarette still had a fuel in its heart.
When we got back to the town after hunting, we were beat. Non of us could take another step without panting for air. "Your back!" One of the children cheered. I looked up too see it was Hanamakki's sister. "Yeah!" He cheered as he patted her head.
"What you catch this time?" I heard my sister say as I looked up at them. "Grass hoppers- spiders- ants- and blah blah blah" I replied tiredly not even willing to say the other things we caught.
"I can see why your all beat today~ you guys had grass hoppers~" she joked as she crossed her arms. "Oh hush" I replied as I rubbed my eyes. "Hey- who's bring the hunt back?" Mattsun asked. I looked around to see that Hanamakki was walking away, Iwaizumi was no where to be seen, and my sister was signaling me to follow her. Of course I did.
We left Mattsun alone to bring the food back and honestly at thing point I didn't feel bad at all. He was the one complaining about the grass hoppers.
