"Weirdo" (Norray)

Chapter 7

Normans POV:

I never knew it would be this fun talking and eat with Ray. It was like he was a whole different person. His smile... was everything I never wanted that smile to fade. Ray is perfect in so many different ways.

"Norman?? You alive I called you 100 times" he said sarcastically "Oh I'm so sorry Ray I spaced out" I don't want him to know I was thinking all those things I said in my head. Sad part is I'm bad at lying, whatever I wing it. "Wow" his eyes sparkled "what is it Ray" "this cake is so good wow" He's like a child it's cute.

"I'm glad your enjoying it Ray" he smiled at me and I felt my face heat up a little. "Ah Norman" "yes?" He grabbed a book on the table which I didn't notice before. "Ima go pay really quick for this book" he walked away from the table and it kinda felt weird without him there. I'm an idiot. I drank my hot chocolate. I heard my phone vibrate. I grabbed it and saw it was from the girl who literally just confessed to me without getting to know me. I don't know even know how she got my number.

Unknown Number

01:00 Unknown Number: Hi Norman! I still need a response from you just so you know.

I thought about what Ray said. I feel bad but I don't wanna play with her feelings that would be wrong. 

01:00 Norman: Hi. 

01:00 Norman: I'm really sorry but I don't return your feelings I mean we don't even know each other.

There was no response after that. Ray came back he seemed.... happy. "I'm back" he sat back down on the seat. I smiled. "So what book did you buy?" "It's called "worlds apart" it's a really good book". A few minutes later after talking and finishing our food we left. We said our goodbyes and parted. My house wasn't far so I walked. 

As soon as I came home I took off my shoes and changed into some comfortable clothes. I went on computer. Watched some videos and fell asleep
