POV  SELENA

(Selena is sitting in between Fred and George and across from Ron and Hermione.  Down on the left of them is Remus, James, Lily and Sirius in dog form are sitting together. Then on the right of them is the rest of the Weasley family, all the Longbottems, the bones and Prewetts sitting together.)

Dumbledore started reading Selena Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

M r. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. "You're welcome" the Prewett twins said.

They were the last people you'd expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious, because they just didn't hold with such nonsense.Mr. Dursley was the director of a firm called Grunnings, which made drills. "Whats a drill" asked Mr Weasley.  "Why doesn't everyone that have questions write them down and then I will try and answer them as best as I can" spoke Hermione.

He was a big, beefy man with hardly any neck, although he did have a very large mustache. Ginny said "So handsome."

Mrs. Dursley was thin and blonde and had nearly twice the usual amount of neck, which came in very useful as she spent so much of her time craning over garden fences, spying on the neighbours. Lily then said "Well she has not change much."  Everyone who had met her before nodding along.

The Dursleys had a small son called Dudley and in their opinion there was no finer boy anywhere. The Weasley twins and Ron laughter filled the great hall. Charlie then asked the question on everyone's mind" Why are you laughing ?"  Fred being the first one to pull himself together then said " Well he is anything but small."

The Dursleys had everything they wanted, but they also had a secret, and their greatest fear was that somebody would discover it.  They didn't think they could bear it if anyone found out about the Potters. Mrs. Potter was Mrs. Dursley's sister, but they hadn't met for several years; in fact, Mrs. Dursley pretended she didn't have a sister, because her sister and her good-for-nothing husband were as unDursleyish as it was possible to be. All the people that cared about grammar said"That is not even a word." Remus and all the people that like James said "James/dad was not good for nothing." Well this was happening Lily look down sad at the reminder that her sister hated her. James who sew this gabbed her hand under the table.

The Dursleys shuddered to think what the neighbours would say if the Potters arrived in the street. The Dursleys knew that the Potters had a small daughter, but they had never even seen her. This girl was another good reason for keeping the Potters away; they didn't want Dudley mixing with a child like that.  Molly then asked "A child like what?" "A magic child" came my dull reply.  Hermione then told everyone " If we want to get this book finish we can't keep interrupting  save all your questions for later." Everyone agreed with and turned back to the book.

When Mr. and Mrs. Dursley woke up on the dull, gray Tuesday our story starts, there was nothing about the cloudy sky outside to suggest that strange and mysterious things would soon be happening all over the country. Mr. Dursley hummed as he picked out his most boring tie for work, and Mrs. Dursley gossiped away happily as she wrestled a screaming Dudley into his high chair.None of them noticed a large, tawny owl flutter past the window. At half past eight, Mr. Dursley picked up his briefcase, pecked Mrs. Dursley on the cheek, and tried to kiss Dudley good-bye but missed,   was now having a tantrum and throwing his cereal at the walls."Little tyke," chortled Mr. Dursley as he left the house. All the mothers look furious at that type of patenting but keep quiet. All I could think of is what they're going to think when they see him when he is older.
