Chapter 2:

"Wait, no, your not leaving!" Greyson says, Boo avoids his eyes, not wanting to see the look of horror that swirled around them. "That's hundreds of miles away," he says, his voice cracking. Boo looks up to see his eyes fill with tears, "no, no, don't cry, please don't cry!" Boo exclaims, hugging him. "I'm not leaving yet," she says, hoping he will be happier, "when?" He asks, his grey eyes looking into her blue ones, a speck of hope showing. "Friday," she whispers, it was only Tuesday.

"That makes me feel a little better," he says, kissing her cheek. Boo didn't ask him how they would keep their relationship alive, she was too afraid of that answer. "Can I throw you a going away party?" Laurie asks as they walk to lunch. "What? No!" Boo says, punching her red headed friend playfully. "Why not?" She asks, a little disappointment ringing in her high pitched voice. "The last time I let you through a party everyone got drunk and I almost got arrested!" Boo exclaims thinking back to junior year. Laurie smiles thinking back to it, "yeah but it was the best party ever! Everyone talks about it!" She exclaims, Boo gives her a look. "Yeah the police do when your name is mentioned in a conversation," Boo says, they both laugh.

"Can I help you pack?" She asks, Boo nods, "I don't want to though, it will be hard," Boo says, looking down.
