Mismatched Wedding

03:First Day

It was early morning.Vridhi woke up from her deep slumber. She chucked her blanket aside and rubbed her eyes to get a clear view.She looked at the vast clock and realised it is 6:30 in the morning.She got up from the couch and looked at the bed.Atharvaa was still in his sleep.She looked at his face deeply.

Vridhi's PoV
How can he be so cute?I looked at his face more deeper.Suddenly realisation stuck me.Everything he said yesterday flashed in my mind.He didn't even saw my face once.Then why am I looking at him like this.But he is my husband.Even he doesn't care about me,I love him a lot no matter what.
I know he needs time to accept me.He's still on Shalini's memories.How am I supposed to make him understand that I didn't threatened Shalini and I don't know where she is.Where will be she?and where would she stay?

With all these thoughts I grabbed my suitcase from the corner of the room and took a peach colour saree to wear.I rushed to bathroom and closed the door. I striped naked under the shower and the cold water calmed my senses. After a long shower,I walked to the kitchen. I saw amma busy preparing something.

"Good morning Amma." I greeted her.

"Good morning Vridhu." She said with a smile.how can she be so sweet?whenever I sees her face I instantly get remembered about my amma.

"You're so early Vridhu.You need to take some rest." She said.

"Its ok amma.I can manage." I said.
She smiled at me.We started making breakfast. After sometime I took a cup of coffee and went to the hall.Appa was reading a newspaper. When he saw me he folded the paper and greeted me.I handed him the coffee and he smiled at me.Then I went up to Anu's room.I saw her sleeping peacefully. I smiled and sat next to her.I pulled the blanket from her face.

"Anu.Get up.Its late." I said.

"Please di.Its leave for me as it is bhaiyya's marraige. So let me sleep for some more time." She said with puffy eyes.I smiled at her cuteness.

"Ok.You can sleep. Drink this coffee when you gets up." I said and placed the cup of coffee on the side table. I covered her with bedsheet.

Then I took baby steps to Atharvaa's room and pulled the door gently.I had a cup of tea for him as he likes tea more.I remember him saying that he likes tea more than any other drinks in an interview. He was getting ready.To where?May be office.I coughed to get his attention.But he didn't turned to me. Why?I wonder If he had saw my face for once.

Atharvaa's PoV
I heard her coughing behind me.I didn't turned as I don't want to see her face.I don't want to see her not in my entire life.

"Here's your tea." She said and placed the cup on the table.Her back was facing me.When she was about to turn,I turned to the other side.I heard her closing the door.

After getting ready,I got down to dining hall. Amma was busy arranging the plates.Appa was eating silently. Anu was eating snacks. Amma smacked her shoulder indicating her to stop eating snacks before breakfast. It is her daily habit.

I didn't saw that devil no where.I sighed in relief.I sat down on a chair.

"Where are you going Adi?" Appa asked.

"To office." I said serving the dishes to my plate.

"You don't have to go to office today.Not today but the entire week." He said.

"But why?" I asked annoyed.

"Because your marriage happened yesterday.You have to spend time with your wife." Appa said and my blood boiled hearing the word wife.

"Please Appa i have to go there." I said when he interupted.

"Do what I say." He said in a authoritative tone.I sighed.

"Let him go Appa." I heard her voice beside me.But I didn't looked up at her.

"If it is for me.Please I don't want this I don't want to interfere In his professional life. I don't want to create a ruckus in his profession." She said and I smiled a bit.

"Ok you can go." Appa said and glared at me.

So I don't want to see her face in this entire day.I was happy. I quickly ate my breakfast and rushed outside with my office bag without turning back.
