Chapter Thirteen

*Regina's POV**one month later*
I woke up, not realizing the date. I smiled at Emma, then kissed her like every other morning. I got up and walked over to my closet, then it hit me. "We're getting married today." I said as I turned to look at Emma. She smiled. "We are." She said. I nodded. "5 o'clock tonight. Everyone in town is invited." Emma said. I smiled. "This is exciting." I said. Emma nodded her agreement. "Why are we doing the rehearsal today and not yesterday?" I asked. Emma shrugged. "We're supposed to be at the church in 15 minutes though." Emma said and looked at the alarm clock, realizing it was 10:15. I nodded and threw on a pair of jeans and a hoodie, then Uggs. Emma wore jeans, a white t-shirt and her red leather jacket and riding boots. She smiled at me and laced both of our hands together. I smiled as she pulled me in and kissed me lightly. "Are you ready?" Emma asked me. I nodded. "Are you ready, darling?" I asked. She nodded and kissed me lightly again. "Let's go." Emma said. I nodded and she dropped my left hand, still holding my right. We walked downstairs and out to Emma's car. The Killer Beetle, as I like to call it. We got in and Emma began driving to the church. She laid her right hand on my thigh and I smiled. We got to the church at 10:45. I walked around to the driver's side and opened Emma's door. She chuckled and got out. "We're late..." I said. She shrugged. "They can't start without us." She said. I chuckled and kissed her lightly. She grabbed my hand and we walked to the front door of the church. We walked in and everyone else was there. "There you are. We were getting worried about you two." Blue said. "Sorry we're late." Emma said. No one seemed to mind. Charming was there, but no Snow. Henry was there. Zelena and mother. Tinker Bell. Belle. Everyone was smiling. Zelena and Belle were sitting together. Mother was sitting with Henry. Charming was talking with Blue and Tinker Bell. Emma and I walked over to Zelena and Belle. "So, have you guys told anyone yet?" Emma asked. Belle began blushing and Zelena laid her hand on her thigh. "No. We haven't." Zelena said. Emma and I frowned, but were cut off before we could say anything else. "Are we ready to practice?" Blue asked. Everyone nodded. Everyone scattered. Charming would be walking me down the aisle and I was very grateful. He met me in the back of the church and the double doors were closed. "So, are you excited?" He asked. I nodded and he smiled. He hooked our arms together and I smiled. My music started playing and the doors were opened. Charming and I began walking down the aisle, slowly. Blue and Emma were at the front. Henry was standing by Emma. He was her best man. Tinker Bell was also a 'groomsman', standing beside Henry. Zelena and Belle were standing on my side. We got to the end of the aisle and I stood beside Emma. Charming sat on the front pew on Emma's side. Blue smiled. "Okay. That was pretty much all we had to do. If you guys feel comfortable, we can be done." Blue said. It was 11 o'clock. Emma smiled. "I think we're good." Emma said. I nodded. Everyone began filing out of the church. "We'll see you at 5!" Tinker Bell shouted. Everyone nodded. Emma and I got back in her car and she kissed me lightly. "I'm so excited." I said. Emma chuckled. "Me too baby." She said. We went home and didn't have much to do. We watched a movie, then around 1:45, we went to have lunch at Granny's. We walked in and Ruby smiled brightly. "Hello! Happy wedding day!" Ruby shouted. We chuckled and sat down. We both got salads and cokes. This would be the last time we spent together as girlfriends. She would go to her parents house to get ready and Zelena and mother would come to our house. When Ruby brought us our food, we began eating almost immediately. We finished eating and it was 2 o'clock. "Shoot. I have to go meet dad to get ready." Emma said. I nodded. "I have to go meet mom and Z." I said. We both stood up and she gently kissed me before we moved to go separate ways. "Wait Emma." I said and grabbed her wrist. She turned around and looked at me. I quickly wrapped my arms around her. She wrapped hers around me and we just held each other. It was cold outside. And with just 5 days until Christmas, there were Christmas trees and lights decorating the town. It was very pretty. There's a big Christmas tree in the church too. "I love you Em." I whispered in her ear. "I love you too Gina." Emma said and kissed my cheek. "Promise you're not going to run anymore?" I said. I heard her chuckle a little. "I promise." She said. We pulled away and we were both crying. "I love you." She said and wiped my tears away. I smiled and wiped hers away. "I love you too." I said. We both smiled. "I'll see you at 5." Emma said and walked towards her car. "See you then darling." I said. I flashed myself back to my house and Zelena and mom were waiting for me. I smiled. "2 hours 50 minutes." Zelena said with a smile. I chuckled and nodded. "Is it alright if Belle comes over here to get ready?" Zelena asked. I nodded. "Course." I said. Belle showed up around 2:45. I smiled and we all started getting ready. Zelena and Belle were both wearing mint green, lacy bridesmaid dresses that were about knee length. Mom was wearing a light blue dress. Zelena and Belle both had their hair down. They were both ready. 3:45. At 4 o'clock, my makeup was done and my hair was curled. I smiled as I unzipped the garment bag. I ran my hand over the fabric of my dress, then pulled it out of the bag. After putting on my dress, I smiled. I grabbed my shoe box and took the lid off. My shoes are red, sparkly, 5 inch heels. Emma's wearing heels too, so we'll be near the same height. I put them on and smiled. My dress covered them up. I'm wearing a black thong as a surprise for Emma. I smiled. I'm so excited. 4:30. We were all ready. I looked down at my fingernails and smiled at the French manicure. Then, a diamond ring appeared on my left ring finger. I creased my eyebrows in thought. It was beautiful. It's a princess cut, and the center diamond is outlined with black diamonds. "Mom, where's my phone?" I asked. She handed me my phone and I dialed Emma's number. "Hello my love." She said smoothly. I smiled. "Hello darling." I said. "Is everything alright?" She asked. "Yes, but a beautiful engagement ring has appeared on my hand." I said. "Do you like it?" She asked. I smiled to myself. "I do." I said. She chuckled. "Good. I knew black was your color, so I thought it would be good." She said. "It's perfect." I said. "Are you ready?" She asked. "We all are. Are you?" I asked. "Dad and Hen are still getting ready. Tink and I have been ready." Emma said, causing me to chuckle. "Well, darling, it seems we have to leave now. I love you. I'll see you at our wedding." I said with a smile. "I love you too dear. I'll see you soon." Emma said and hung up. I smiled and laid my phone on the counter. I smiled at everyone. "Let's go get married." I said with a smile. I rode with mother to give Belle and Zelena some privacy. "So, dear, I'm so proud of you." Mother said as she drove towards the church. 4:50. "Thank you mother." I said. She smiled. "I'm glad you've found true love." She said. I nodded. "Me too." I said. 4:55, we pulled up at the back of the church. "Alright. There are Zelena and Belle. They'll come over here. I'll make sure everything's ready. Then, it'll be your turn." Mom said and smiled. I nodded. She got out of the car and Belle and Zelena walked over smiling. I opened my door, but stayed sitting in the car. "You excited?" Belle asked through her Australian accent. I nodded. Zelena handed me my bouquet of roses. I smiled and took them. Mother, Tink, Henry and David all walked out. "It's time." She said. Henry was walking Zelena down the aisle. Tink was walking Belle. Charming was walking me. Mom kissed my cheek then went back in the church. I smiled at David. I put my veil on and then linked my arm through his. 5 o'clock. Everything started. After 5 minutes it was just David and I standing at the back of the church, waiting for the doors to be opened. "Nervous?" He asked. "Extremely." I said. He chuckled. "You're shaking. I could tell." He said. I nodded. "Don't be nervous. Once you see Emma, you're not going to see anything else. It'll be okay." He said. I let out a sigh. "Thanks." I mumbled. Then, it was time. The doors were opened and the wedding march was being played. Everyone stood and was staring at me. The whole town was there. David and I started walking. He was right. My eyes locked on Emma and hers locked on me. A small smile spread on her lips. Mine too. She was wearing a fitted tux and looked insanely fabulous. Her hair was in a complicated up do. This seemed perfect. I'm so excited. Half way down the aisle, I get nervous. But no backing out now. At the end of the aisle, charming lifts my veil and puts it over my head. He smiled and kissed my forehead, then went and sat down. I stood beside Emma and she smiled brightly. Blue started talking, but I wasn't listening. This day is going to be perfect and no one can stop it. 30 minutes later, it's time for our vows. Emma's first. "Regina Mills, from the moment I met you, I knew I loved you. You are a beautiful, strong and caring woman. You've seen me at my best and you've seen me at my worst. You are my best friend and I've never loved someone as much as I love you." Emma said. I smiled. My turn. "Emma, I love you. You're the most important person in this whole world to me, other than our son. You make me feel complete. You're always here when I need you and there is no one else that could take your place. I love you so much." I said. Next is the easy part. "Emma Swan, do you take Regina Mills to be your wife? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, for better or worse, for richer or poorer. Do you?" Blue asked. "I do." Emma said with a smile. She got the gold wedding band from Henry and slid it on my ring finger. "Regina Mills, do you take Emma Swan to be your wife? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, for better or worse, for richer or poorer. Do you?" She asked and looked at me. "I do." I said. I turned to Zelena and grabbed the gold wedding band and slid hers on her finger. "I now pronounce you Mrs. And Mrs. Swan-Mills. You may kiss the bride." Blue said. Emma and I looked into each other's eyes. "Stop!" We heard a voice scream. Everyone gasped. Emma and I looked and saw none other than Snow White. "Your mom?" I whispered. "You're too late." Emma said and looked at me. She leaned in and kissed me passionately. I pulled away with a big smile on my face. It was over. Everyone clapped except for Snow. She left before anyone could say anything to her. Emma and I walked back down the aisle and everyone smiled and clapped. This is truly the best day of my life. Now, only an hour to get through the reception and we're home free. It's 5:45. So, at 6:45, Emma and I will leave everyone else to party and go home. "I love you Mrs. Swan-Mills." Emma whispered as we walked out of the church. "I love you too Mrs. Swan-Mills." I whispered back. We got in her car and drove towards Granny's. We got there at 6 o'clock. We got out of the car and walked in. Ruby met us with a big smile. Then Granny congratulated us. We can't stop smiling. I love this woman. So damn much. And now she's mine.
