the weeding date

the day was very tiring.sneha had to complete the projects and also there was some extra classes that she had to attend.after that, she went to librery with koyel.so when she came back home,it was already 11o'clock.she exhaustingly lied in her bed while she heard a knockibg at her door and at the next moment she heard her brother's voice,"snehu, are you asleep?"

"no big bro,please come in" she got up and took a pillow in her laps.Rahul came in with two coffee mugs.he handed her one.

"why did you bring this?you must be tired of your office work.it was not necessary."sneha said as if complaining.

"nothing my girl.i was just working in study when i heard your footsteps.when i saw the time, i thought that you must be very tired.so,i thought to make coffee for two of us. and it will also be a break for me." he sat on the bed and sipped his coffee.

"looks like you became a detective after joining business." sneha chuckled,"you understood very easily that i came back by only hearing my footsteps. i should praise you." she acted seriously.

"for this matter, there is no reason to being a detective. only you wear hills in the house among of us." rahul said mockingly.

"okey stop arguing. the coffee was delecious by the way" she said and put her cup on the table.

"i know it baby. because it is made by the famous coffee chef mr. rahul bose.  ohh, how cool i am." rahul said and also put his mug on the table.

"coffee chef !!" sneha burst out in laughter.

Rahul also laughed and then said,"okey snehu,now i have something to say to you."

"yeah,tell me" sneha got up from the bed and kept the bag on the table.

rahul mumbled,"err...... actually.......we fixed your marriage date."

sneha was taking out her clothes from ulmerah. but when she heard those words 'we fixed your marriage date' she stopped. she directly looked at her brother in a disbelieveing expression.

"i know snehu you must be very shocked after hearing this.but we had nothing to do. today at noon, sharad's mother mrs. sunita meheta and his sister-in-law mrs. riya meheta came to our house suddenly. after their arrival, my mother immediately called me and i informed to father and then we came back home as soon as possible. in the phone, i clearly understood that mom was feeling strange but when we reached home, mom was freely laughing and talking with them. because, in the industry, mrs. meheta, i mean sharad's mother was known for her friendly and kind behiviour. mom and dad were ducussing with them about your marriage and in that discussion,they all fixed your and sharad's marriage date." rahul said and lioked at her questioningly.

sneha sat down on the sofa and said,"you can atleast called me big bro."

rahul said hurriedly,"i called you but didn't pick up. they two were also wanted to see you. specially your would be mother-in-law. i don't know why, but it was looking like she likes you very much."

sneha stayed silent for some time and then said,"can you please tell me the date?"

"yeah sure. it's on next sunday." he said.

"you mean after two days?" sneha asked surprisingly.

"yeah. well please sleep now and sleep well. we will go to shopping tomorrow maybe. so a long day is ahead. good night." he patted his siater's head and took the coffee mugs. then he slowly went out.

sneha sat in the sofa and fell in a daze. after some time, she came out of the room and slowly entered in hwr grandma's room. she sat on the bed beside grandma. then took a hand of sleeping grandma. she then said,"grandma,i will fulfil all you wishes and will do whatever you want. but please,don't go away from me. don't get parted. i will not bother it. please god, don't snatch her from me. don't snatch the dearest person of my life from me." she closed her eyes while saying those words. teardrops fell on grandma's hand.
