Hi I'm Lucia but you can call me Lizzy. Shit is getting wild right now cuz me and my band Anesthesia are gonna perform on Eurovision! We're a rock band from Serbia and I'm the drummer of it. The others in the band are Marko, Aleksa (Alex) and Luka. Marko plays bass, Alex plays guitar and Luka sings. We're all crazy out of our minds. I'm an energetic enthusiastic person and a 5 y/o at mind but can also be chill and lazy. Right now were on a ride to Rotterdam, we are performing in the second semi-finals of Eurovision 2021. For right now we are all sitting and having a mini jam session in the bus just having fun and celebrating that we are gonna perform on such a big event.
I'm drumming on the table, Marko and Alex are with their acoustics and Luka is singing on the top of his lungs trying to annoy our manager even more if it's possible. We're doing a Paranoid by Black Sabbath acoustic cover and it is't going so good but we're having fun. We're discussing about which country's song do we love best, and everyone is agreeing on Italy. So we started singing Zitti e buoni. Oh how I love that song.
"Idem da donesem piće, vraćam se." (I'm gonna go bring the drinks, I'll be right back) said Alex. We were talking about the performance. I couldn't be more nervous, I mean it's such a big competition and so many people are watching on national television and live too, so many amazing performers and I know that the National Jury votes are pretty political so I can hope that the crowd likes us. Only our band and the Italian band are playing rock n roll and I get that a lot of people prefer pop music over rock, but I hope that at least on of us can make a little more history with rock n roll. People say that rock is dead but that is not true it's just that people chose to ignore it and listen to pop and rap now thinking that rock n roll is satanic and angry but that is not true.
It's a little short but it's like a little introduction. I hope you like it so far. I will write some sentences on Serbian when they are talking but here will always be a translation to English.
